    I’m Stan Lojay fan forever, says Olamide

    Legendary rap star Olamide has said that he is a fan and stan of fast rising singer, Lekan Osifeso Jnr a.k.a Lojay, after paying for his music video.

    Reacting to Lojay’s post describing him as one of the greatest people he knows, the YBNL boss shared this information via his verified Twitter account.

    Lojay disclosed how he received a message from Olamide offering to pay for the making of the music video for his song “Ova,” which he revealed on his page.

    “@Olamide is actually one of the greatest humans I know! Bro called me on my birthday and after talking for a bit he told me he loved

    “Ova” so much and literally offered to pay for the video. E no reach 7 days bruh, video was done and dusted! I love that man 😩❤️ My bro 🙏🏾 your loyal fan always,” Lojay wrote.

    Olamide in response to this expressed his admiration for him and noted that he would always be his loyal fan.

    Baddo wrote: “My bro your loyal fan always.”

    Yul Edochie’s first wife breaks silence after son’s demise

    May Edochie, first wife of actor Yul Edochie, has finally broken the ice after the unfortunate death of her son.

    After dissociating from social media for four months, May resurfaced with a post about her late son.

    Speaking about the loss of her son for the first time, her post contained a picture she took with her remaining three children and a beautiful, detailed write-up.

    She thanked everyone for their support and prayers in the trying times.

    She also took a moment to appreciate the brands she works with for their understanding.

    She wrote: “It is impossible to forget a child, so he’ll always remain the second of my four adorable children”.

    The couple lost their 16-year-old son, Kambolichikwu, in March 2023.

    He was said to have slumped while playing football at his school after suffering from a seizure.

    He passed away after all attempts at revival made by the school medics proved futile.

    After his passing, Yul Edochie took to Instagram to recount his last moments with his son.

    He also deleted all pictures of his second wife, Judy, including the post announcing that he was expecting a child with her from his page.

    He however left posts with his first wife, May.

    Right after a little while after his son’s demise, Yul went continued his love life with Judy, the second wife.

    Funke Akindele comes under attack on Threads app

    Famous actress Funke Akindele has received series of backlashes over her recent post on the new social app, Threads.

    The app, created by billionaire tech entrepreneur Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, bears resemblance to Twitter and has quickly gained a following of over 10 million users.

    Funke Akindele, upon joining the app, shared a photo showcasing her outfit, with a particular focus on her shoes.

    Expressing her love for shoes, she posted: “I love shoes.”

    Unfortunately, her post did not resonate well with many users, who criticized her for being immature.

    According to them, there is and order of how things should be done on the new app, adding that unlike Instagram, Threads isn’t a flaunting app.

    A netizen argued the app was intended for conversations and advised her against posting about her love for shoes.

    The comment reads: “Yeye….. Na talk we dai talk here o Aunty Funke don’t come and be posting I love shoe oo”.

    Mocking her, another @cybernatsquestioned the meaning of her post.

    He wrote, “Ewo tun ni I LOVE SHOES Bayo. Aunty funky.. we’ll follow you massively don’t worry”.

    Singer Johnny Drille has narrated how not making it to top 10 of MTN project fame made him feel like a ‘loser’.

    The sensational singer and Mavin signee said he featured in the talent show in 2013 to compete for he grand prize but unfortunately didn’t make it to the last lap.

    He opened up in a recent interview with reality star KimOprah on Hip TV’s programme, Trending.

    He said: “A lot of people don’t know but I was on Project Fame in 2013. I did not make top 10 not to talk of winning. But for me, it was like the beginning of everything for all these.

    “I know when I was evicted that night, something was born in me. For the first time in my life, I feel like a loser. I feel like I wasn’t worth anything.     Johnny Drille came into limelight in 2015 after releasing his hit song ‘Wait for me’ under Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.

    The artiste, who has been giving amazing performances and shutting down several shows for days, took time out to reflect on life.

    Burna Boy noted how people will ride with those against you when they don’t like you.

    He further noted how these set of people, will go to any length to mingle with people they don’t also like just bring you down.

    “When people don’t like you, they will ride with anybody that is against you. They may not even like them but they both have one assignment,” he wrote.

    Big Brother Naija ‘level up’ winner Phyna has argued that women should not feel entitled to a man’s money or property especially if they aren’t married.

    The reality star asserted that even in a relationship, ladies should not have an entitlement mentality over their partners’ money.

    She made the comments while featuring on the Honest Bunch podcast live session recently.

    Phyna, however, said it is okay for a man who has the means to spend lavishly on his girlfriend willingly but maintained that ladies should not be entitled to such gesture.

    She said: “As a girlfriend, I don’t think you should expect soft life from who wey never marry you. If you’re craving for soft life, go to your dad or brother.

    “But if God come butter your bread say the man wey you dey with, is able and capable, enjoy. But don’t impose it.

    “As a lady if soft life dey hungry you, you have three options; one is either you go out there and make your damn money, two is either you go back to your father, and three is either you go to your brother.”

    Phyna said ladies should emulate her, stressing that she has been hustling since secondary school because her dad was poor and brother was young.

    Singer John Ighodaro aka Johnny Drille has clarified that his rumoured romantic relationship with fast-rising actress, Tomi Ojo, is strictly platonic and untrue.

    The Nation recalls that Johnny Drille and Ojo went viral after a clip of them seeming to be romantically involved surfaced online.

    Moving further to feature as his lover in a music video ‘Believe Me’, fans assumed they had something serious going on.

    Debunking this in a recent interview with Hip TV, the Edo-born singer maintained they are ‘just friends’.

    Johnny Drille made the clarification on the heels of the disclosure of his secret marriage to the Director A&R, Mavin Records, Rima Tahini.

    He said: “First of all, if you watched the ‘Believe Me’ music video, you would know that there are two Ojos in the song, one is Wale Ojo, the other one is Tomi Ojo.

    “It was in a way some kind of pun but it seemed to work well together.

    “But as regards relationship, Tomi Ojo is an amazing person. She’s fantastic person to work with. She’s very great for the music video. That is the much I can say. That’s all I can say.”

    Controversial rapper Darlington Okoye aka Speed Darlington, has claimed that he isn’t familiar and doesn’t know the award-winning Grammy singer, Burna Boy.

    He asserted that the ‘Ye’ crooner is an attention seeker, adding that he once made a video in the bathroom just to get his attention.

    Speed Darlington made the claims in a recent interview with Hip TV.

    The ‘Akpi’ crooner, due to ratings and hierarchy, vowed never to do a feature with Burna Boy, Wizkid or Davido.

    He said: “I don’t wanna do song with Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, none of those names. I’m not interested because tomorrow it will become, ‘We made you.’ You didn’t make me, I was trending before you met me. I didn’t even know you. You made a video to get my attention in a bathroom. So, who know who? I’m talking about Burna. You made a video to get. Who know who? You, come to me. Otherwise, let it fail. I’m not interested.
    “I heard the name Burna Boy not too long ago. But I’ve come to realise that has been putting in work for years. It’s just that the industry didn’t recognise him.
    “I heard the name Burna Boy, I think 2017/2018. There was a video he made and he was basically giving me a hint; let’s do something. The video somehow found me. This was 2017/2018. First of all, I thought he was an American artist. I had no idea who he was.”

    Popular dancer Kaffy has come under attack for sharing her opinion on marriage.

    The celebrity dancer, via the new launched app, Thread spoke about her view on marriage and what to prepare for before getting into it.

    “The fear of marriage is the beginning of wisdom. So you can do due diligence.”

    This sparked reactions from different users but Kaffy got triggered by a particular comment.

    Reacting to the post, a Threads user identified as jayne_sammymere said: “Nawa ooo, if e no work for you no mean say e no go work for others. Marriage is a beautiful thing.”

    Responding, Kaffy argued her marriage and the one of the fan would fall apart if caution is not in place because many women desire a life of roses in marriage without realising they need to grow.

    She said that while terrible partnerships may contribute significantly to the community’s decadent mentality, marriage is a lovely thing.

    Kaffy wrote: “No one spoke about it not working or being beautiful, and yes mine failed and yours will if care isn’t taken cuz a lot of you ladies wish without realizing you need to learn and marriage though beautiful is a serious matter.

    “Bad relationships are a major contributor to the decadence of the mindset of the community”.

    Kaffy and estranged husband got separated in 2022.
