Popular TikTok creator, Peller, has shared his struggles with online negativity and misrepresentation at just 20 years old.
In an Instagram post, he lamented how a 30-second clip from a nearly six-hour livestream was being circulated to paint him and his girlfriend, Jarvis, in a negative light, while their dedication and positive efforts were overlooked.
Peller revealed the pressure of providing for himself and his family and described the emotional strain of facing constant criticism.
Despite the challenges, he stressed his determination to remain resilient and rise above the hate.
Peller wrote, “I streamed almost 6 hours, but a 30-second clip with good intentions is being pushed to paint me wrongly. This happens often, negative clips get picked while the hours of work and joy are ignored.
“I’m just 20, still figuring life out, trying to provide for myself and my family. Sometimes it feels like people don’t care if I break down or even lose myself in the process.
“I’ve never seen a 20-year-old dragged, put down, and torn apart like I am… but every single time, I rise again.” — Peller responds to critics.
Peller’s outbursts came after a heated argument erupted between him and his girlfriend, Jarvis after attending Seyi Vibez’s concert in Lagos.
The couple were leaving the Tafawa Balewa Square venue when the altercation began.
Peller attempted to guide Jarvis into a vehicle, but she resisted, prompting him to physically pull her.
He claimed he was trying to protect her from aggressive fans seeking money.
The tension continued inside the car, with Peller and Jarvis exchanging angry words.
Peller pushed her, saying she was preventing him from handling an issue, while Jarvis accused him of shouting excessively and prioritising his own well-being.
