Another post claimed he died in a fatal car accident.

The statement read, “The attention of the Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC) has been drawn to the purported passing of Dr. Ali Nuhu, its current Managing Director/Chief Executive being orchestrated within the social media space; and wishes to officially and unambiguously inform the general public that the reports, including videos laced with the pictures of Dr. Ali Nuhu are not only malicious, injurious but false in their entirety.

Kaffy: My mother once suspected me of having an affair with her boyfriend

Professional dancer Kaffy has opened up about a traumatic childhood experience where her mother falsely accused her of having an affair with one of her boyfriends.

Kaffy shared the painful memory on the honest bunch podcast, revealing that she was just 13 years old at the time.

According to Kaffy, her mother had been dating various men after her divorce and the children had grown close to them, affectionately referring to them as “daddies.”

However, Kaffy said her mother became increasingly insecure about their relationships, often suspecting the children of having ulterior motives.

She said the traumatic incident occurred when her mother walked in on her trying to help one of her boyfriends clean a cut on his face.

Misinterpreting the situation, she said her mother accused her of infidelity and subjected her to a brutal punishment, stripping her naked and flogging her in front of everyone in the living room.

“I was 13 when my mother started suspecting me with her own men. Because of the divorce she had kinds of people. She will have different men she is dating and we will see those men as daddies because we were also missing that father [figure].

“The closer you are to the men, the more she is insecure. And there was a day that I was stripped naked in front of that man in the livingroom and punished for just trying to help ‘daddy’ clean a blood from his face because he was shaving and cut himself. My mother walked into the room when I was saying, ‘Daddy, see.’ And she misinterpreted what was happening and I was flogged naked in front of everyone.

“That had it own traumatising effect on the mind on its own. But then you are thinking, ‘But that’s my mother, would I do that to my mother? Why would my mother even think of that of me, the daughter?’ Are you seeing that transfer of insecurity from mother to child? It’s done subliminally but it’s going to have its own effect,” she stated.

The actress also took a strong stance against online bullying and body-shaming, pointing out that those who mocked Chinelo’s appearance may have contributed to her decision to undergo surgery.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Rita expressed shock and sadness over Chinelo’s untimely death, revealing that she had expected the dancer to debunk the news until she saw the pamphlets announcing her demise.

“Death has a way of snatching people away too soon, leaving them with only memories to hold on to.
Hers will forever remain a treasure – her kindness, strength, and joy.

“And to those who constantly body shamed her, pointing at her tummy and mocking her imperfections – well done. You planted the insecurities, you pushed her into a corner, and in the end, she went in for a surgery she never returned from.

“Are you happy now? She’s gone. you can now rest, isn’t it? But remember this: The blood of her silence, the tears of her struggle, and the weight of your words will echo louder than your laughter ever did.

“Social media was meant to be a place where people come to vent their sorrows, struggles, and depression in a bid to derive joy and enjoy peace of mind coupled with constant happiness, but no. These netizens have turned it into a weapon— mocking, judging, and adding more pain to already wounded souls. It is bad, very bad.

“She was more than her body; she was light, love, and human, and now, all we have left is her memory. Rest well, dear one. Your absence is deeply felt, but your impact will never fade. I pray for God’s comfort upon your great family, giving them fortitude to bear the loss, Amen. Ije Oma Nnem ooo”.
