Why I can’t return to BBNaija season 10 – Sabrina

BBNaija Season 10 housemate Sabrina has revealed that despite being medically cleared, she was denied re-entry into the show.

Sabrina exited the house on Monday due to medical reasons and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

After being declared fit by a gynecologist, Sabrina said she expected to return to the show but was instead informed that she wouldn’t be allowed back.

In an emotional Instagram Live session, Sabrina shared her disappointment, revealing she waited five days for a decision, cut off from the outside world without access to her phone or media.

She expressed her desire to return to the show, missing her fellow housemates, especially Kola, and the overall experience.

Sabrina said: “On Monday, after exiting, I was transported to a hospital that was recommended to me. I was led to a specialist, a gynecologist. He examined me the same day, general medical assessment. An admission was then asked by the clinic. On Tuesday afternoon, I was told all results were unremarkable, medical language for nothing dey do me (I am fine). Nothing was wrong with me. I was told I was fine.

“I was elated because I thought it meant I will be on my way back to the journey that I started. I was told to hold on. So I did, with no outside communication or interaction. I had no access to my phone, neither did I consume any form of media, I didn’t even watch television. I prayerfully longed for a call that would confirm my return but days passed and nothing.

“I was comforted by my chaperone and official doctor’s report that states that I have been certified medically fit and yet on Friday, I received what I consider one of the most excruciating calls of my life. On the call I was told, ‘I have the unfortunate task of telling you that you would no longer be returning to the show’.

“I received the call while in the hospital waiting for the next thing. I waited for five days. Do I want to come back? Of course, yes. I don’t think my journey has ended. I miss Kola as much as he misses me, I miss the lights, I miss diary sessions, I haven’t worn half of the clothes I brought in.”” she said in tears.

  • Why some celebrities don’t criticise politicians – M.I Abaga

Why some celebrities don’t criticise politicians – M.I Abaga

Rapper M.I Abaga has shed light on why some celebrities choose not to speak out when politicians come under criticism.

Speaking on a recent episode of the “Outside The Box” podcast, Abaga explained that personal relationships often influence such decisions.

He noted that having a friend in politics can create a moral dilemma, where a celebrity might avoid joining in the criticism, not because they disagree with it, but to preserve personal connections.

Sharing his own experience, he recalled a late-night meeting with the governor of Jos, where they discussed plans for the creative industry until 2:30 a.m.

According to him, such personal interactions may make him reluctant to criticise the governor publicly, not because the criticism is unwarranted, but because he wants to recognise the positive side of the individual he engaged with.

He said, “Most artists have a friend that’s entered into politics, you know, and because you have a friend that’s entered into politics, you might have a closer understanding of an issue, you know, and you are also seeing that person receiving the insults and you don’t just want your voice to be part of the insult. It’s not like you don’t think the person, you just don’t want your own voice. Like, you can, like, let me use an example, like, the governor of Jos, I have my perspective of meeting with him at those two thirties.

“I’ve seen it. I’ve sat with him and he’s tired. This, do you understand, he’s the governor of a state and he’s staying up to two thirty to talk to me about my plan for the creative industry.

“So if something comes up where he’s getting a lot of pushback, I may refrain from speaking not because I don’t think that the critique is necessary for him but because I don’t, I want to speak to the person I met at two thirty. You know what I mean? He may need some, he may need a few people that are going to be like, but I see what you did at two thirty. Yeah, you are getting a lot of kickback but I still see the good in you.

“You know, this is part of being a human being”.
