She further revealed that she directly confronted the troll in her DMs, exchanging sharp words and making it clear that she would not be bullied or intimidated.

“You give me, I give you, and then everybody go dey okay. Then you now run kitikiti–katakata, you were crying because of just one line. But you, you write plenty now. Like I said, I’m not a celebrity. You bring rubbish to me. I give you rubbish back”, she said.

I will gladly kneel to propose to my woman – Neo Akpofure

Big Brother Naija star Neo Akpofure has stated that he would willingly kneel and propose to his future wife.

According to him, kneeling to propose is a sign of respect, love, and commitment, rather than weakness or subservience.

Neo, who is unapologetic about his stance, said that if others are bothered by it, that’s their problem.

He wrote, “If you like, don’t kneel to ask your woman to marry you, that’s for you, me. I will kneel with happiness and a big smile on my face, and if that bothers you, I pray you don’t heal from that headache it causes you.”

Neo’s declaration has garnered mixed reactions, with some people praising him for embracing vulnerability and humility in love, while others criticised him for adopting a Western tradition that may not be part of African culture.

Neo was in a relationship with his BBNaija colleague, Beauty.

The two first made headlines in July 2023 when they were spotted leaving a hotel.

Beauty’s friend and colleague, Doyin, confirmed the rumors as true.

Unfortunately, just like many Big Brother Naija relationships, theirs didn’t last, as in October, the lovebirds had unfollowed each other on social media.

Neo was also in a relationship with his co-star, Vee Iye, but they broke up around 2022.

According to reports, Vee Iye’s issue with his cousin, Venita Akpofure, was one of the many reasons why they broke up.

“If I could take back anything I did in the house, it would be being myself,” Tracy said. “Right now, I wish I had gotten into unnecessary fights, shouting, or being dramatic. People said I was quiet and boring, and that made me leave early.”

She added that she now recognises the performative nature of the reality show, where contestants often amplify their personalities for strategic advantage, and regrets not playing along with that dynamic.

“I wish I realized it was a game and I could act out of character and clear the air once I’m out,” she said.

Stay humble amid fame – Tiwa Savage urges colleagues

Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has advised her fellow artists to remain humble and grounded despite their growing fame and global recognition.

Speaking in an interview with Hot 97 FM in New York, Savage reminded artists that they are only ambassadors of the Afrobeats movement and that fame can be fleeting.

She stressed that success comes from God and can be taken away at any moment, making humility essential.

According to her, while the music industry offers great highs, it can also bring devastating falls if integrity is lost.

Savage added that she would rather forgo fame entirely than compromise her integrity after achieving success.

“We are just ambassadors, we are just like the faces of Afrobeats. And that’s why we can’t let it get into our heads, because we are just vessels and there can be somebody else.

“God can take it away like that. So, you have to be grounded. You have to be humble. Imagine coming this far and then falling. That is worse than not ever tasting fame. I would rather have never seen in my life than seen and lost my sight. That is worse for me.

“So, for me, it is like, I have tasted this thing now, I have to be humble. Just for God’s sake”, Savage said.

The ‘Malo’ hitmaker also shared her admiration for some of her colleagues.

She praised Ayra Starr’s confidence, noting that she sees herself in the younger artist but appreciates Ayra’s unwavering self-assurance.

Savage also commended Tems for her mysterious and low-key persona, as well as Diamond Platnumz for his talent and dedication to promoting his community through music.

“I love Ayra Starr, it’s almost an obsession. I see myself in her, but I see a more confident one; when I was starting out, if I saw an article that my skirt was too short, the next time I might wear trousers. But Ayra would wear a skirt that is even shorter the next time. I love her confidence.

“I love the mystery behind Tems. You don’t know too much about her and she doesn’t care. I love Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania. He is so talented and he has put his community on the map”, she said.

Rita Edochie slams women who choose to be second wives

Actress Rita Edochie has criticised women who willingly become second wives, describing the act as selfish and destructive to families.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, she echoed the words of a cleric who condemned polygamous relationships as ungodly.

Edochie argued that women who accept such roles are driven by greed, not love or destiny, and end up causing pain to others.

According to her, becoming a second wife is not a position of honour but a path filled with regret, built on another woman’s tears and broken home.

She wrote, “If you’re a second wife, you are nothing but a witch. You are not innocent, you are not special, you are just greedy. You have chosen to feed on another woman’s tears, to build your happiness on someone else’s pain. Do not call it love; it is wickedness. Do not call it destiny; it is covetousness. You stole what was not yours, and you expect to be celebrated? Never. A second wife is not a queen. She is a usurper. You are the thief who slipped into another woman’s home pretending to be a bride.”
