The Guinness World Records adjudicator verified the record attempt and confirmed that Tacha had broken the previous records for most cosmetic makeovers in 8 hours and 24 hours.

On October 11, Tacha successfully transformed 82 women in 8 hours and an impressive 144 women in 24 hours at a makeup station in Lagos.

Tacha said, “We faced a nine-hour storm that disrupted everything. The rain poured so heavily that our screens, monitors, and branding fell apart. The wind scattered the setup, and we had to rebuild the venue from scratch mid-event.

“On top of that, we experienced multiple power outages during the 24-hour attempt. The lights went off three or four times, but I refused to stop. My team turned on their phone flashlights, and I kept doing makeovers in the dark.

“It wasn’t just about makeup anymore; it was about proving that nothing could stop us.”

Her determination and skill were evident in the stunning transformations of the women, who were thrilled with their new looks.

The Big Brother Naija star expressed her gratitude to her team, models, and fans for their support.

Drama as Taye Arimoro, Peggy Ovire clash on movie set

Actors Taye Arimoro and Peggy Ovire are embroiled in controversy following a reported physical altercation on a movie set.

Arimoro, who captured the incident via Instagram live video, said the trouble began when he attempted to leave the set after his contract time had elapsed, but was allegedly prevented from doing so by Peggy Ovire and her team.

He claimed that his car was blocked, and was assaulted by Peggy Ovire’s team, resulting in visible injuries to his gum and lips.

However, Peggy Ovire disputed Arimoro’s account, alleging that the actor became aggressive and physically assaulted two crew members when they asked him to complete a few scenes.

“Taye, you beat up two crew members simply because you felt they had no voice – no social media presence, no one to speak for them. They were only begging you to please complete two short scenes so we could wrap the night. Moments later, you went live to record their reaction – leaving out the part where the violence began”.

She claimed that Taye reacted sharply when she approached him to discuss the shoot and later punched the production manager multiple times.

“You reacted sharply when I tried to talk to you, so I decided to give you space. Later, when the Production manager approached you to appeal for more time, you got physical with him. You had punched the Production manager three times, and he was on the floor before the driver came out”, she added.

Peggy further alleged that the situation escalated when Taye’s driver got involved, and her driver was left bleeding from the ear.

She, however, denied blocking Taye’s car or instructing her driver to do so, instead claiming that Taye drove off while she was still beside the vehicle

Detailed on Instagram story, Daniel said he was ready to perform but missed his flight due to delays caused by his agent trying to resolve payment issues.

He claimed his agent, Olamide Baron, had sold the show to another promoter who allegedly breached their contract by not paying the balance.

Kizz Daniel claimed he was prepared to perform and even arrived at the venue, but the event organisers had closed for the night.

He wrote: “First, this wasn’t my fault. Whatever clips y’all are seeing is a beef between the tour Agent @olamidebaron and the show promoter. We were delayed from flying by @olamidebaron So he could get his money which I wasn’t aware of until later. He resolved the issue with the promoter but we couldn’t make the flight.
The next available flight according to Baron was 5:25pm.

How I became a comedian after failing at ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ – Destalker

Popular comedian Desmond Onaibe, better known by his stage name Destalker, has revealed that he once attempted to venture into internet fraud before discovering his true calling in comedy.

Speaking on the In-house Gist podcast, Destalker admitted that he couldn’t go through with the fraudulent activities because of his kind nature, explaining that he didn’t have the heart to cheat or deceive others.

He recounted how, during that period, a friend used to pay for his night browsing sessions at a cyber café, saying that his conscience eventually stopped him from continuing down that path.

He said, “Before I left Enugu, I tried internet fraud with one of my friends who is now a pastor, but I wasn’t successful at it. Then we would book night sessions at the cyber cafe for N250. I couldn’t afford it then, so my friend always paid for me. He is now a big pastor.

“However, while he was scouting for victims online to scam, I was busy chatting with my family, friends, and old schoolmates from Ughelli on Facebook. After that, I would fall asleep. There is no need for overspeeding when you are in the wrong lane”.

Reflecting on his journey, Destalker expressed gratitude for not succeeding in internet fraud, crediting his kind heart for keeping him on the right path.

He added, “But today, it is a changed story. Because it [internet fraud] was not my destiny. I can’t defraud a person because I am kind hearted. Because of all that I went through, I have grown so confident that no one can stop me from achieving my goal.

“There were some comedians who said without them I would not perform at certain shows, and I told them that I would blow even without performing there. And I did. Some of the shows have gone extinct, and some of the comedians are also no longer relevant,” Destalker expressed.
