  • ‘Sanitize your mobile phone jackets as safeguard against COVID-19’

‘Sanitize your mobile phone jackets as safeguard against COVID-19’

A medical doctor, Dr Clement Ekere, has advised Nigerians to also sanitise their phone jackets as further safeguard against the spread of the Conoravirus.

Ekere made the call in Jos on Tuesday during a stakeholders meeting organised by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) while speaking on the topic “History of Epidemic and Pandemic”.

The occasion was a one-day Stakeholders Preparedness and Strategic Plan on the COVID-19 Pandemic in the North Central Zone.

Ekere, who is the Vice-Chairman, Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) in Plateau, noted that the pandemic had no cure for now and advised that people adapt preventive measures as safeguard.

“Prevention is key, Nigerians are advised to think of removing and sanitising their phone jackets which has become a handy device to almost all and sundry,“ he said.

According to him, what doctors do medically is preventive; this disease from China as we know poses a threat to the global community with 1.3 million already confirmed cases and 67,000 deaths recorded as at the timeof the conference.

“There is no known specific treatment or vaccine for the pandemic, people are only doing trial and error.

“Cases should be promptly reported to relevant agencies of government to avoid a situation where the various medical facilities will be overrun,” he said.

Some of the measures to adapt, he said, should include adequate and regular washing of the hands with soap under running water, use of hand sanitisers to avoid close contact with sick people, keeping sick people at home, giving your face a respite among others and to also sanitise your phone jackets and where necessary, self isolation when you feel sick.

In his opening address, Mr Eugene Nyelong, the Zonal Coordinator, NEMA North Central, said the workshop was for preparedness level appraisal.

He said the meeting aimed at checking the readiness and preparedness level of stakeholders in regards with COVID-19.

Besides, he said, the meeting was also to register the scope of incident management, utilise available facilities maximally and effective means of communication within Plateau state.

  • COVID-19 battle affecting fight against polio, other diseases – WHO

COVID-19 battle affecting fight against polio, other diseases – WHO

    Agency Reporter

The World Health Organisation (WHO) says the fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19) is affecting the fight against polio and other diseases.

Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus, the Director- General of the organisation, disclosed this in a statement posted on the agency‘s website on Saturday.

”As you know, in recent years we have driven polio to the brink of eradication.

”This has been a massive global effort, started by Rotary, supported by many other partners, and led by thousands of health workers, vaccinating children in some very difficult and dangerous areas.

”Many of those health workers are now supporting the COVID-19 response.

”They are tracing contacts, finding cases and providing public health information to communities,’’ he said.

Ghebreyesus said to reduce the risk of increasing transmission of the COVID-19, the polio oversight board had made the hard decision to suspend house-to-house vaccination campaigns, knowing that this may lead to an increase in polio cases.

“To reduce this risk, we will support countries to maintain essential immunisation for all vaccine preventable diseases.

“WHO has published guidance for countries on how to maintain essential health services even while responding to this crisis,’’ he said.

According to him, the Global Polio Eradication Initiative is working to ensure that once it is safe to do so, countries can be supported to rapidly restart the polio vaccination campaigns.

“While all our energy may be focused on COVID-19 now, our commitment to eradicating polio is unshakeable.

“Sadly, there are reports from some countries of an increase in domestic violence since the COVID-19 outbreak began.

“As people are asked to stay at home, the risk of intimate partner violence is likely to increase,” the WHO boss noted.

The dire tor-general said women in abusive relationships were more likely to be exposed to violence.

He stated that they were likely to be exposed to violence and their children as family members spend more time in close contact and families cope with additional stress and potential economic or job losses.

Ghebreyesus said women, because of the situation, might have less contact with family and friends, who may provide support and protection from violence.

“We call on countries to include services for addressing domestic violence as an essential service that must continue during the COVID-19 response.

“If you are experiencing or at risk of domestic violence, speak to supportive family and friends, seek support from a hotline, or seek out local services for survivors.

“Make a plan to protect yourself and your children any way you can.

“This could include having a neighbour, friend, relative, or shelter identified to go to, should you need to leave the house immediately.

“There is never any excuse for violence. We abhor all violence of all forms, at all times,’’ he said.

In addition, he said the global response to COVID-19 would not be possible without the generosity of countries and partners.

Two months ago, the director-general had said WHO issued its Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan, with an initial ask of US$675 million to support the response.

“I am delighted to say that almost US$690 million has now been pledged or received.

“Of this amount, US$300 million has been given to support WHO’s work, and the rest has been given on a bilateral basis, or to other organisations involved in the response.

“I will like to thank the State of Kuwait, which today is becoming one of the largest donors, with a total of US$60 million.

“WHO’s Solidarity Response Fund has now raised more than US$127 million from more than 219,000 individuals and organisations. I will like to thank Tencent for its contribution of US$10 million,” he said.

He noted that WHO had invited UNICEF to join the Solidarity Response Fund.

According to him, UNICEF has extensive experience both in fundraising and in implementing programmes and such partnership will assist to work together closely to save lives.

“We still have a long way to go in this fight. WHO is working every day with all countries and partners to save lives, and to mitigate the social and economic impact of the pandemic.”

Ghebreyesus further said WHO had discussed with Kristalina Georgieva, the Managing-Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), on the economic impact of the virus and the support IMF would give to support countries.

According to him, more than one million confirmed cases of COVID-19 have now been reported to WHO, including more than 50,000 deaths.

“But we know that this is much more than a health crisis. We are all aware of the profound social and economic consequences of the pandemic.

“The restrictions many countries have put in place to protect health are taking a heavy toll on the income of individuals and families, and the economies of communities and nations.

`We are in a shared struggle to protect both lives and livelihoods.

“In the short term, countries can ease the burden on their populations through social welfare programmes to ensure people have food and other life essentials.’’ he stated. (NAN)

Eight ways to beat boredom during COVID-19 lockdown

    Fasanmi Abiola

Getting bored during a lockdown could be real torture especially with people who are used to having hectic schedules. In this light, it is kind of important to keep busy so as not to feel the state of boredom as it does kill happiness.

The World Health Organisation(WHO) has described the coronavirus as a pandemic and advised everyone to maintain some form of social distancing and also stay at home to avoid the spread of the virus.

This period requires that you spend a lot of time at home and if you have nothing to do, you might end up being bored and frustrated. So might want to try out new things, learn a new skill and so much more.

We have made a list of activities that can help you get through this period till the pandemic is over:

    1. Exercise

Provided you are prepared to put a little time and effort into your workout at home, it can be just as effective as a gym workout. At a time like this, the prospect of going into a gym is daunting and therefore exercising in the comfort of their own home is much more appealing. Since you are likely to do a lot more of eating and sitting around, a lot of exercises may be crucial as you need to stay fit and healthy.

    2. Learn something new

Because lockdown isn’t a vacay, you should work at adding value to yourself at this time. Learn a new skill or add to you your existing knowledge by taking a new course online. It won’t hurt to try one of the many online or self-study options. Many are even free, so there’s no excuse for not broadening your horizons. • DELSUTH doctors suspend planned strike

    DELSUTH doctors suspend planned strike

    By Elo Edremoda, Warri

The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) in Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH) Oghara, has suspended its planned industrial action over the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus in states across Nigeria.

In a communiqué at the end of an expanded ARD executive council meeting, the doctors stated that the strike action was reviewed to attend to the health needs of Nigerians, particularly Deltans, in this challenging period.

It added that the decision also stemmed from the directive of the national President of Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), their parent body.

The communiqué, a copy of which was made available to The Nation, was signed by the association’s President Dr. Isoje Daniel Omamuzo; General Secretary, Dr. Rukevwe Odukuye and its Public Relations Officer, Dr. Harrison Adja.

The doctors had concluded plans of going on strike over the welfare of its members, with issues ranging from failure of DELSUTH management and Delta state government to refund examinations and bench fees owed members.

The Nation reports DELSUTH houses one of the four isolation centres established by the State Government to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The ARD vowed to support government efforts to combat the spread of the disease in the state.

However, it noted that the suspension of the industrial action was temporal, as the reasons for the proposed strike had not been met by the state government and the management of the teaching hospital.

“The Association of Resident Doctors of DELSUTH being a union of repute with huge sense of commitment to a healthy community, decided to sacrifice the pursuit of the interest of her members owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and regard for the intervention of our parent body, The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), by reviewing her earlier notice of industrial dispute to the management of DELSUTH and the Delta State Government in a communiqué dated 12th March, 2020.

“However, we are sensitive to the global health challenge brought upon us by the COVID-19 pandemic and have decided to step down our proposed industrial action for the interest of the common good,” the communiqué stated.

Decrying the lack of life insurance package or compensatory measures for medical workers who are at the forefront of battling the spread of the disease, the statement appealed to well meaning Nigerians to prevail on DELSUTH management and the state government to ensure all their needs are met.

The resident doctors observed that “there is inadequacy of the recommended N95 facemask and PPEs needed as precautionary protocols against the disease.”

Parts of the association’s demands, include “that DELSUTH management should shutdown all outpatient clinics pending when a decline is recorded in the incident cases of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.

“Adequate provision of the PPEs, recommended face masks, alcohol-based hand sanitizers and infra-red thermometers at all patient entry points to the hospital. That all health workers listed for the management of this disease be granted life insurance package with adequate compensatory measures in event of any calamity befalling any of them.

“That DELSUTH management/Delta State Government should pay up all outstanding updates, examinations and bench fees refunds with all components including transportation and accommodation as obtained in the Public Service Rules, Residency Training Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and other similar Teaching Hospitals in Nigeria without further delay, having shown magnanimity by extending multiple ultimata on this particular demand.

“Finally, in view of the above outlined issues affecting our members, we demand that DELSUTH management/Delta State Government reciprocate our magnanimity by resolving all the aforementioned challenges militating against proper residency training in DELSUTH within this graceful period to avert immediate withdrawal of our services without prior notice at the recovery from the global COVID-19 pandemic.”

  • Contagious and non-contagious diseases

    Contagious and non-contagious diseases

    Dr. Joel Akande

At the time of writing this article, several thousands of people have died and may indeed yet die from a very contagious (communicable) and extremely infectious illness occasioned by corona virus (COVID-19).

A disease can be contagious or non-contagious (non-communicable). Most often, a contagious disease is infectious such as viral diseases, yeast and bacterial illnesses. Except through direct blood transfusion or laying of such parasite on a person, parasite such as malaria may not be directly contagious. Yeasts or fungus can be contagious.

In some of these communicable illnesses, you don’t have to be in direct contact with the carrier before you get it. Examples are air-borne diseases. Most viruses and parasites fall into this category. In some cases, the carrier may spew the bacteria into the air as we know in tuberculosis and coronavirus or influenza virus.  The next person only need to inhale the spewed agents to get ill.

Parasites may require a carrier such as mosquitoes or you may get the parasite from source such as in food, in water and soil. Yet, in some occasions, a direct contact to the body or skin, body fluid, blood or sex with the victim may be required: Ebola, Lassa fever, cholera, gonorrhea, syphilis, leprosy, and indeed all sexually transmitted diseases as examples of such direct contact.

In this category also are human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and Hepatitis B and C Viruses. Typhoid is very common in our environment. Yet, typhoid can be spewed into our food, spread by food handler. Typhoid may be transmitted through our water but you may not get typhoid merely by hugging a typhoid diseases sufferer.

A non-contagious illness though is one that does not require that one be in contact with the carrier victim before the disease develops. Example is hypertension, diabetes, arthritis and say heart failure.

Another important example is cancer. Merely touching a cancer patient does not imply that you will get it. Alcohol related diseases or substance misuse illnesses do not require that the illness jump from one person to the other upon contact with the victim. Mental health illness is not communicable. It’s not infectious.

Meanwhile, accidents at home and on the road and work places are non-contagious. If you accidently fell while at work, you cannot blame it on a virus or bacteria. What does it mean then to contract a disease?  Anyone at any time may contract either or both contagious or non-contagious diseases. To “contract” means to develop a disease regardless of the class of the illness.

Prevention: This explanation has been put forward as the approach to dealing with contagious illness is different from non-contagious one. Considering that contagious illness are often infectious, unless you get into the proximity of sufferer such as tuberculosis, influenza or coronavirus, you may not get it.

Also, as some contagious diseases require direct contact as in say sexually transmitted diseases or contact with body fluid and blood of sufferers, you may not get these diseases if you stay out of their way. If you also stay out of the air, water and soil that contains these agents of diseases, you may also avoid getting ill.

In some occasions, a thoroughly cooked food is all you need. Clean water could also prevent the illnesses. Wash your fruits before eating them may prevent relevant infectious diseases. For non-contagious illnesses, it may be important that you pay close attention to how you acquire your daily energy and how you expend your energy.

Once you get your energy which is contained in your food, you should endeavour to expend the said energy to prevent heart, kidney diseases and high blood pressures. Thus, your intake, storage and energy output should balance if you are to avoid non-communicable, non-contagious metabolic diseases. Travel Advice and more information are available in World Health Organisation offices or their websites, respective state and federal ministries of health.

  • PSN applauds CBN, bankers’ committee on N100b loan

    Adekunle Yusuf

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has commended the recent decision of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to provide N100 billion loan package to the health sector with focus on the local manufacturing sector.

In a statement, PSN President, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa,  said the intervention fund is long-awaited.

“For many years, we have drawn attention to the dangers of total dependence on importation for our local drug needs. We have complained that this creates a real national security exposure, yet not much attention was paid to us. We had argued that the pharmaceuticals should get part of the attention paid to agriculture. To all intents and purposes, medicines come next to food and to be truthful, for some of our people, medicines have become food. Again, some people thought we were talking of protecting the pharmaceutical industry from a commercial point of view,” he said.

The PSN boss said global supply chains have been disrupted, including dominant drug supply channels from China and India. In fact, many countries have or are planning to ban export of drugs and medical supplies from their countries. “Clearly, we have no choice but to produce these items locally. As a result, the Committee has identified a few key local pharmaceutical companies who shall be granted naira and foreign exchange funding facilities to support procurement of raw materials and equipment required to exponentially increase local drug production in Nigeria. These loans would be granted at single-digit interest rate and for long tenures, including granting necessary moratorium.”

The PSN applauds the CBN and the Bankers Committee for this bold action, which it described as a major impetus to realising the national health policy objective of producing a minimum of 70 per cent of essential drug needs locally, as companies access the special intervention funds and increase their capacities.

“We pray that the implementation will be quick, swift and wholesome, devoid of the usual lending bureaucracies of ‘come today and come tomorrow.’ In the interim, may we request the government to issue directives to the Custom Services to grant expedited clearance of healthcare and pharmaceutical in our ports, as many shipments are waiting at the ports, to mitigate shortage of essential drugs. Additionally, may we request that all duties and levies on essential pharmaceuticals and healthcare equipment be suspended for the next three months to assure sustainable supply and pricing stability to the Nigerians in dire need at this period of global health emergency,” Ohuabunwa said.

  • Coronavirus: ‘Neither drugs nor injections but… the right kinds of foods and drinks’…

Coronavirus: ‘Neither drugs nor injections but… the right kinds of foods and drinks’…

As we sometimes hear after a hurlyburly is over, when the battle is lost and won (due  respect to William Shakespeare), we may learn someday that today’s humanity groped in the dark for too long in the wilderness for a Coronavirus cure right on its lap.

Did we not hear, long after we were bamboozled into believing that human virus caused AIDS  by one of the two researchers celebrated for the discovery that no human virus caused AIDS? In-between the “discovery and the recant”, and till now, a huge industry of HIV-AIDS medicaments has been spurn around humanity. Dr F Batmanghelidj, the paradigm-shifting Iranian who taught the world that water is both food and medicine, would again rescue listening members of humanity that:

    • What researchers call HIV are splinters of DNA and RNA molecules from cell nuclei circulating in the bloodstream,
    • Cell nuclei crack and break into pieces when all Essential Amino Acids are not present in the make up or, if they are, there are no Cysteine and Zinc “fingers” to hold them together,
    • When Cysteine and Zinc are added to cultures of HIV tissues in the test tube, the so called viral animally reversed and the tissue regained health and vibrance.
    • It is DNA fragments accumulated and circulating in the blood over a period of time, which researchers mistook to be HIV virus and again mistakenly assumed gave rise to acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).

Dr Batmanghelidj reminded us that Cysteine was one of the “essential Amino acids”, which the body could not make on its own and had to receive dietarily to be healthy and alive.

As Amino acids are the simplest forms of proteins from which human tissue and even immune cells are made, this means a lack of deficiency of them would leave the human body like a mere pack of cards or like ice in the tropical sun.

While many researchers and doctors either did not hear about the experiments of Dr Batmanghelidj, or chose to ignore him and pursue the more lucrative Business of Medicine, and crowding him out as they almost did to Dr Linus Pauling  as reported in this column last week, Alternative Medicine gave these frontier-expanding doctors a hearing.

That is why you are likely to hear your alternative medicine care givers tell you HIV is curable, that HIV is no more than an overwhelming of the immune system by many factors and that when you clear them all, you relieve and eliminate the suffocating stranglehold, the immune system would come alive again. It has no choice.

It is the command of the Creator that the system defend the body, under a Creation  Plan which, before the human body was created, had grown on this Earth food crops for its nurture and medicament herbs for its restoration to health if it ever falls ill.

As the stages for the pandemics of this century were being set by mankind in the last century, it had the privilege of being forewarned in the 1920s in a spiritual book that neither drugs nor injections, but the right kinds of food and drinks bring  lasting health.

My goal today is not only to say humanity is in another panic mode from which another huge medicament industry will grow to feast on fear and gullibility, sweep aside all admonitions that “neither drugs or injections but the right kinds of food and drinks bring lasting health.

It is to also show that insightful persons in the world Health Organisation (WHO) are pulling us by the ear to look up to mother nature who designed our bodies and nutrition in the Will of the Almighty Creator.

I wish to invite attention to President Donald Trump’s comments on the Coronavirus situation in Nigeria and to remind us, maybe next week, of another possible natural cure for Coronavirus disease. In this case, Iam referring to the work of Dr Holda Clark presented free for everyone in her book titled: The Cure for  Many Diseases

     President Trump

Nigerians should not overlook the statements of President Trump about Nigeria last week as talkative talk. Nigeria continues to surprise the world about how, her poorly paid doctors, working with antiquated equipment in overcrowded hospitals with fitful electricity supply, have successfully contained viral pandemics on which the international drug companies would have feasted.

While the United States continues to bow to Coronavirus disease,  Nigeria has  adorably contained it. Last week, President Trump said Corona virus disease could still hit Nigeria harder than  Italy and Spain. I added two to two when he went on to invite Nigerian doctors to come over to the United States on good pay to help fight Corona virus. I thought…”

This is the man who says Nigeria was going to go under, the man who knows thousands of Nigerian doctors are working in his country, the man who knows Nigeria is short of doctors and still wishes to poach the few we have in the face of a crisis he predicts.

We cannot fault the response of the Nigerian medical Association (NMA) that a doctor is free to work anywhere in the world, even if the tax payer funded about 80 percent of his or her education. It is the doctor’s inalienable right.

Our response is to not note with passive interest President Trump’s statement, to not panic and to find means other than drugs to continually protect ourselves. America under President Trump is still heavily sold to the Germ Theory of LouisPasteur. That theory says germs  cause disease and that drugs cure disease.

But isn’t this intellectual chaff? By “intellectual” I do not demean a sharp or keen intellect as a protective gear or armour in earthly existence.

I refer only to that situation in which the intellect has been enthroned in the place of intuition. For the intellect is merely perceptive capacity of the brain to receive, classify, store and retrieve experiences for daily use. The brain, its master, belongs to the animal body or housing in which the owner, Man or Spirit, resides.

The perception of spirit, intuition, transcends the intellect’s confinement or boundary within material space and time in craetion. Thus, intuition should rule over intellect, even in earthly matters, and the intellect only its errand boy, not the master.

Were this so in the United States, it should be long clear that immunity is what GOD planted in our bodies to protect us and that immunity thrives on wholesome foods and drinks and not in the junk foods and technology modified food crops which adorn the standard American diet (SAD) and had made immunity a cripple before environmental enemies of man.

This is the lesson all Nigerian governments should be passing to our people, not crippling lock-down  measures. That is the lesson the world Health Organisation (WHO) is teaching the world all over…”neither drugs nor injections, but the right kinds of foods and drinks bring lasting health”

    5-G Complicity?

The news is flying around that a new world order is on the way in which human thought and opinion, like the government, will be singularised. Purveyors of this idea say it has been in the works for a long time. It involves radio frequency communication on 5 G bandwith which has 10 times more electromagnetic penetrating power than 4G waves.

This means more penetration into homes and offices, vehicles and factories, for example, and harder interferences with human electromagnetic circuits.

This would not only disrupt cell-to-cell communication, damaging intracellular and systemic intelligence, causing riots of biochemistry and disease, it would also poison the cells or ionise, that is dissolve them.

As this is going on, the immune system will attempt to come to the rescue. The hypothesis suggests that cellular debris and other wastes of cellular damage are what the proponents of Coronavirus  COVID 19 band together and call the virus in a grand cover up of the damage of their industry to humanity.

It is interesting, that only in countries where 5 G technology has been well deployed has the Corona virus pandemic severely occured. Wuhan, China, epicentre of that country’s pandemic, was the first to host 5G technoloy there.

This technolog is widely deployed in Spain and Italy, which are badly affected, and in the United States. Russia defies a cold weather haven logic of the pandemic. The virus is said to love cold weather. Russian winter is one of the coldest in Europe. Yet Russia is literally Coronavirus free.

The reason may be that Russia uses no 5 G technology. President Trump may have predicted a bad future for Nigeria  not just because politicians and powerful citizens who fly home from abroad are not detained at airports for compulsory quarantine there but are allowed home on the vague promise to self isolate which they never do.

President Trump may  know that Nigeria has licensed one of the foreign service providers to roll out 5 G technology.

With the hunger for bigger radio energy to power a growing number of information technology devices including driverless cars, Artificial intelligence (AI), CCTV, more powerful Android  phones etc, it is doubtful if man on his own will be able to avert an inevitable electromagnetic destruction of his race.

The capacity of 5 G broadcast  to do this will ever be covered up, many observers say. And to calm fear and panic, a vaccine against coronavirus will emerge. The promoters will make good money worldwide. And the vaccine may come with not just the toxic wastes the immune system is meant to fight, but with a computer chip as well in the body to monitor the life activities of that person who would now become  a human robot in the hands of the new powerful manipulation of power and money on earth.

    Immune system

Amidst the confusion comes the calming words of Dr Tedros Adhanom Gbereyesus, a director-general of the world Health Organisation (WHO).

” We know that, for many people, life is changing dramatically… My family is no different. My daughter is now taking her classes online from home because her school is closed. For the rest of the world that even the most sincere situation can be turned around.

But the experience of cities and countries that have pushed back this virus gives hope and courage to the rest of the world . During this critical time, it’s important to continue looking after your physical or mental health. This will not only help you in the long term.

First, eat a healthy and nutritious diet which helps your immune system to fight and function properly. Second, limit your alcohol consumption and avoid sugary drinks. Third, don’t smoke. Smoking can increase your risk of developing sincere disease if you become infected with COVID 19.

Fourth, look after your mental health… It’s normal to feel stressed, confused and scared during a crisis. Talking to people you know and trust can help. Supporting other people you know in your community can help as much as it does them. Check on neighbours, family and friends.

Compassion is a medicine. Listen to music, read a book or play a game and not try to read or watch too much news as it makes you anxious… COVID 19 is taking so much from us, but it’s also giving us something special. The opportunity to come together as one humanity to work together, to grow together. I thank you”

    Radiation, the missing link

Everything is energy. Energy vibrates and radiates. So, we can say everything radiates. Through attraction and repulsion, everything within the universe maintains a healthy and safe distance from everything else, and succumbs when its radiations are too weak to protect itself.

That explains why 5-G radio wave may break down the human cell. But it cannot do this where the in-dwelling spirit which animates the body vibrates healthily and its  radiations glow powerfully through the encasing physical earth body.

To unite with the animating and protecting radiations of the spirit, the body must also generate it’s own radiation as a plug into the spirit socket. To generate its own healthy and powerful radiations, the body must be well fed with food which contains” The Life Force”.

The life force contains stellar, cosmic, soil and other radiations which plants, fruits, food crops and herbs have absorbed and stored in their energy batteries for the consumption and use of man.

Globally, mankind has steadily moved away from a diet of the life force to plastic diet which does not offer its immune system any nurture to protect him from environmental predators. The outcome  is immune weakness aggravated in  times such as this.

    Abighya Anand

I accept the idea that the stars govern the fate of man. But they do not govern the fate of man on their own. They give back to man the ripened fruits of the seeds he sows. stellar radiations journey to the earth in certain channels, alternating favourable and unfavourable downpour.

The stars and other bodies are not hanging over the earth for the fun of it. They are in motion, like the clouds, forming different formations all the time, and each formation has a different impact on the earth.

Abighya Anand is a 14-year-old Indian protege who is said to be versed in reading the movement of the stars and predicting what these may portend. According to an internet post:

“Abighya Anand predicted that the world would enter into a tough phase starting November 2019 and April 2020. These six month period will see the spread of a global disease and rise in global tensions. At the height of it all would be March 31st which will mark the climax of this state with the world looking tense.

However, on May 29, as the earth orbits away from this tough period, it will mark the global decline as the spread of the disease will become more manageable.

“Anand is a famous Indian protege who has been featured on numerous magazines. Notably in 2013, he was interviewed on the Indian Times where his astrological skills were put to test. And to the amazement of many, his knowledge of astronomy was considered a child’s play. He has rightly by use of astronomy predicted the prices of gold and silver and other indian-related activities.

” On the Corona virus, it is to be noted that it is a global war…Why Anand considers March 31 to be the climax is based on astrology. Where he cites that Mars will conjunct with Saturn and Jupiter while the moon and rahu will also conjunct. Rahu is the north node of the moon.

This is a rare occurrence since Saturn astrology, Mars and Jupiter are considered the most powerful planets due to the fact that they are on the outer ring of the solar system. Hence, when they are all aligned, their power over earth is enormous.

“While as for the moon and rahu conjunction, it is also very powerful since the moon is considered the planet of watery spreading. While as for rahu it is considered the communicator planet.

“In terms of watery spreading, he notes that the coughing and sneezing will happen mostly at this time, thus spreading the disease further. It is this vital to observe social distancing during this time. That is 31st and April 1st.

“As for May 29, according to his astrological understanding, the axis will be broken and thus the planetary arrangement more favourable for a cure. From this point on, cases of the reduction of the disease will be reported. As for the economy, the slowdown is predicted to end in November 2021”.

    My views

Astrology is a royal art. But only those “called ” to the code movements of the stars can speak with definitiveness. Four wise men accompanied Baby Jesus to the earth. Three made the trip to Bethlehem after sighting, over the manger, the Star, which have travelled down from the spiritual world as a greeting from the Father.

The fourth arrived after Joseph and Mary had fled to Egypt with baby Jesus. May 29 is an important date on the spiritual (not religious) calendar. It is the day the earth receives divine power from out of the holy spirit for its regeneration.

The Christian Pentecost festival, which celebrates only the Ascension of the risen Christ, misses this specific date and omits this important aspect of a wonderous event which has taken place in this date since the beginning of creation.

The sending of this power into creation from where it gets to the earth is important because, if this power is not sent, creation will wither and disappear. It reminds people who know about this event that the Holy Spirit created the universe and will judge it as the Lord Jesus once told His disciples.

The Lord Jesus knew this power from the Holy Spirit was about to be sent to the earth as it had always been sent on this date when he asked his disciples to gather in the Upper Chamber. We all remember the event in which tongues of fire descended into them and they spoke in tongue with an understanding of all languages spoken to them.

The Lord Jesus ascended on the rebounding waves of this power which carried him aloft to his father.  Let us all approach this day in watchful reverence and humble prayers for our well being well beyond this earth life. May the day bring us strength for peace and happiness on earth in the will of our Almighty Creator.
