HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?

My personal style is a reflection of my personality and mood. It’s pretty simplistic with clean looks. However,  I will take the occasional  risk every now and then.
FASHION ITEMS YOU CAN’T DO WITHOUT

A pair of heels, sneakers, dress shirt, denim and some studs. These are must haves for me!

FASHION ITEMS YOU CAN NEVER BE CAUGHT WITH

Satin is one of those fabrics that I hate and won’t be caught in voluntarily.  I just hate the feel and look of it. Aside from that, I can be adventurous with anything else.

    WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO OUTFIT?

A pair of jeans and a white tee. I love comfortable style. I don’t like forced, fashion statements. Everything should be effortless in my opinion.
    WHAT DO YOU SPLURGE ON?

Shoes, shoes and more shoes! I’m a serious addict.

    ARE YOU A LABEL FREAK?

Not particularly. I love vintage pieces and items that don’t come around often.

WHAT COLOUR  APPEALS TO YOU THE MOST?

    Nudes tones.
SIMPLEST FASHION ITEM IN YOUR WARDROBE

    A printed, chiffon shift dress.
WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE DESIGNER(S) HOME AND ABROAD

I love Maki Oh and Jewel by Lisa. Internationally, I’m a fan of Self Portrait and Peter Pilotto.

THREE NIGERIAN WOMEN/MEN WHOSE STYLE APPEALS TO YOU?

Eku Edewor, Lisa Folawiyo and Noble Igwe.

    WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?

    God, food and credit alerts!

DOES YOUR MOOD INFLUENCE HOW YOU DRESS?

    All the time!
WHO HAS BEEN YOUR GREATEST FASHION INFLUENCE?

Vivienne Westwood is a designer I admire simply because she reminds you that you don’t have to over do things  to be set apart. In all your efforts to look drastically unique and different, you’ll end up looking like everyone else.

BEAUTY THINGS YOU DO BEFORE GOING TO BED

I make sure that I wash my makeup off even if I’m extremely tired. Skincare is important to me and I try to make sure my foundation is healthy.

    DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN ONE WORD

Grooming tips for the bearded man

Growing a beard can be an expression of independence and confidence but it takes a lot effort and commitment. Just like the hair on your head, facial hair is also very important. It needs regular upkeep to avoid looking unkempt and shabby.

    Grooming tips:

    • Keep your beard clean. Wash your face every morning and night. Dry thoroughly with a clean towel and avoid putting your face on dirty pillowcase.
    • Shampoo your beard at least few times a week. Use a moisturizing shampoo to prevent the hair from getting brittle
    • Use a thick, heavy duty conditioner to keep your beard from getting too strong. Leave the conditioner in for a while before washing it off.
    • Trim it regularly. This is done to get rid of split ends in the hair and maintain your chosen shape.
    • Eat a healthy diet. Avoid eating oily food, eat lot of fruits and drink plenty water as well.
    • Get beard oil. A good beard oil will prevent your beard from itching, beard dandruff and also keep your beard and face from getting oily.
    • Moisturize with shea butter or moisturizing oil such as olive, coconut or grapeseed oil.
