    LAST week, Nigerian model Mayowa Nicholas became the first Nigerian to be featured in a Dolce & Gabbana campaign for their Fall/Winter 2016 campaign shoot in Napoli, Italy.

    And now she has become the first Nigerian model again to feature in the Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) most recent campaign.

    There are no basic rules to follow when wearing a watch. However, make sure your watch is the proper size.

    You don’t want it too loose or tight, it’s going to look ugly. Also, watch is typically worn on the hand opposite your dominate hand, that is, if you are right-handed wear on the left hand and vice versa.

    Make sure that the face sits right next to the bone on the outside of your wrist. Do not wear your watch on top of your shirt cuff.

    2. Make sure your colours match properly. Do not mix prints. If the shirt is plain, the waistcoat can have some prints, but if it’s a printed shirt, best keep the waistcoat plain.
    3. Pick the right shoes. Your shoes are going to make or break this look, so choose your shoes with caution. Match your waistcoat with the right coloured shoes.
    4. Keep everything else well fitted.
    5. Choose the right material. You don’t want to be looking like a waiter.

    Pair with jeans or chinos and you are good to go.

    Crotchet braid is the new cool! It is not exactly a new trend as it dates back to the 90’s. This chic and trendy hairstyle is back and better. It comes in different style, colour and texture. It looks voluminous and heavy but it’s surprisingly light-weighted. Crotchet hairstyles are easy to create; it doesn’t matter if your hair is long or short.

    Crotchet braid is easy to make and less time-consuming. It is done by adding extensions to one’s hair. Unlike weave, the method of crocheting is to first cornrow one’s hair, lace the hair of your choice through the cornrow with the crotchet braid needle. Then you put a knot in the extension and attach it to the cornrow.  It’s quite simple and you can do it yourself.

    Crotchet braid looks good on anyone irrespective of your body shape and size. They can last for two months if properly taken care of.
