Will Florence Ajimobi wear late husband’s shoes?

It is quite clear that filling the vacuum left by the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, who died last year will be hard. The late politician was a popular figure in Oyo and Nigeria at large even after he left office.

It goes without saying that the closest person to Senator Ajimobi is his wife, Florence.  And there are suggestions she may decide to continue her husband’s legacies.

The talk may have been fueled by the massive support she got from her late husband’s loyalists and friends during Ajimobi’s one-year remembrance/memorial Fidau prayer.

After the prayer at the deceased Ibadan, Oluyole residence, guests were treated to a special reception at the International Conference Centre (ICC), University of Ibadan. Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and other governors as well as their wives attended.
