Faith Oyedepo: An amazon and her doggedness @ 63

    Our Reporter

It’s easy to conclude that Pastor Mrs. Faith Oyedepo lives in the shadow of her husband. It’s understandable. Her husband, Bishop David Oyedepo is the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel. Her husband is always in the news and no doubt one of the front-liners in the Pentecostal charismatic circle in Nigeria.

But then, Faith, whose original name is Florence has had to fight her own battles and has over the years carved a niche for herself. Though quiet and seldom seen in the public, she has proved to be a strong pillar in the ministry. That however did not come on a platter.

    Valley of death experience

Her experience in the valley of death several years ago has put her in the hall of faith; a testimony to her name. Many had thought she would go with the sickness which ravaged her for several months. It was indeed a traumatic time for the family. But God kept her through that season of horror.

The consequence of her experience is her unbridled passion to see the sick get well. Her voice cuts through the air whenever she talks about healing. She was right there in the den of sickness and death. Her sickness defied medical science but could not defy the mercy and the healing power of God.

In the book, rescued from destruction, she confessed that it was the mercy of God that pulled her through. Born February 5, 1958, as Florence Abiola Akano, she married her husband in 1982 when things were on ground zero. And they have both gone through the mill to get where they are today.

She talks passionately about the years of her frail health and would always pray passionately for the sick.

She said in one of her messages that she became aware that wellness is what every sick person looks forward to.

He words, “Thank God for medical science but they are facing a lot of challenges today because they can’t catch up with what the devil is releasing to the world.

    Sickness is terrible

“Sickness is terrible, it is evil. When I had my ordeal going through the valley of the shadow of death there were many things I could not document in the book.

“At a point in time when those who were helping me out were trying to carry me, my body was peeling off. You could not talk of combing my hair because my hair was pulling off. But I know I am here because God rescued me so I can be an agent of rescue.

“For a long season, different parts of my body were stiff. My neck was stiff, my legs were stiff, my hands were still. One of the medical doctors that were coordinating said I would not regain the use of my left hand anymore again even if I recover from the sickness. But today here I am carrying my hands. That is why when I see the sick, I have a lot of passion. God who changed my story will change the story of somebody.” He declared in the audio message published online.

Trouble began on the missions field

In the 173-page book, she said her ordeal in the hands of the enemy started on the mission field while she and her husband and some ministers in the church were busy holding programmes in the north.

It all began with a pain in her body. She anointed the place where the pain was coming from and prayed. But rather than get a reprieve, things became worse. Her husband began to wage war against the kingdom of darkness while they also sought medical help. But the doctors had no clue as to what was wrong with her. She ran all kinds of test, yet there was no clue. After exhausting all medical examinations, she began to do a self-examination.

She ensured that she had no bitterness, hatred malice, or strife that the enemy could latch on to. Even at that, her condition did not improve.

She was struck with insomnia. She could not sleep. She experienced pain all over her body.  It got to a point that things she could do became difficult for her. She however held to God’s word. After suffering from insomnia for several days, she said the first breakthrough she had with sleep was after Pastor Enoch Adeboye prayed for her.

That was however not the end of the battle. She began to have strange experiences thereafter. The night became a nightmare. Confusing thoughts made her heart a habitation. She had a terrible physical condition that she literally became a walking corpse. With time she could not carry out personal hygiene by herself. She could no longer read the Bible. She needed assistance to do almost everything including going to the toilet. She also began to see horrible visions of strange objects.

    Doctors said it was spiritual

She wrote in the book, “there was this mysterious ugly black devilish structure that stood continuously at the entrance of any room I was for months and I was the only one seeing it.”

When her ordeal would not abate, she was moved of the country. While abroad she did more medical checks and consulted with many experts. One of the doctors confessed to her that her problem was spiritual, that medicine could not solve it. That was when it dawned on her that she needed to increase her spiritual attention to the ailment.

She used the name of Jesus and ate the holy communion without restrain. She applied the anointed olive oil and embarked on a regular sprinkling of the blood of Jesus (usually the Ribena drink is represented by the blood), she also used the mantle, embarked on feet washing and the prayer of faith. She also deployed the weapon of sacrificial giving. Great men of God like T.L Osborn also prayed for her

    The miraculous happened

The miraculous happened in December 2004 when her son killed a snake that showed up in her room. A big black ugly bird was also found completely dead in their house in Nigeria. The bird was knocked down right in front of their room. The bird was gathered and burnt. As soon as the bird was burnt, she started receiving calls from people who wanted to confirm if she was still alive.

Another manifestation was the appearance of a long, winding poisonous snake in her husband’s office. The snake was killed. After the snake was killed, the first thing she noticed was that the death angel that always stood by her door disappeared. That marked the end of the sickness which according to her dragged for a cumulative of nine months.

On the lessons she learnt from her experience, she wrote, “the first lesson I learnt as I walked through the valley of the shadow of death was intimacy with God. When tough times knock on your door, don’t run away from God. Run to God. Never let anything separate you from God because it is to Him you will return at the end of your earthly journey.”

She also learnt that it is important to constantly entertain thoughts of victory. She said, “Your life will always move in the realm of your dominant thoughts”

Another lesson she noted in the book is that believers should always believe they will be victorious from any burden or problem.

Her ordeal also made her realise that it is important “to build valuable relationships and also to seek counsel when necessary, cultivate a heart of gratitude and eat good and healthy food.”

Apart from ministering healing to people, Faith Oyedepo is known as a family enthusiast. She has written valuable books on family life, youth, and women empowerment.

  • Why churches must support missionaries, by Kehinde

Why churches must support missionaries, by Kehinde

    By Adeola Ogunlade

The Senior Pastor and founder of Agape Generation International Church, Rev Toyin Kehinde  has called on churches in Nigeria to invest more in missions especially in terrorist prone areas as missionaries in war torn area are willing to stay through to the great commission.

Kehinde said this  ahead of the Global Mandate Conference holding on the 17th to 20th, February, said that although there is probable fear of banditry, terrorists and coronavirus everywhere but the truth is that we have a commission that has to be obeyed and that is what those on the field are doing at the risk of their lives.

He said “There is a general atmosphere of fear everywhere. The fear of the pandemic is there. The fear of terrorists, kidnappers and all sorts are there. We need to encourage those who are on the firing line of great commission in dangerous areas.

Kehinde, who is also the convener of Global Mandate Conference, said I have had cause to go to missionaries in terrorists’ prone areas and I get encouraged by them.

He said “they tell me to tell those in the cities that they should stop telling them to leave their land and come to a safe place. They said the bandits and terrorists want to take their land and also take their faith, and that they will not allow that.

“That is the point. There is a little light on these fields. If the little light should leave, I can imagine the darkness that will fall on the land. So, missionaries who are on the field see their presence there as that of a fire-fighter who is going to rescue those in the danger of fire. While some people are running away from fire, they are going into the fire to rescue those who are perishing. That is what is driving those on the firing line”, he said.

The cleric asserted that despite the encouraging support we get, “I still think the Church in Lagos is still spending less than 1 percent of its income on missions. We are still very far from our goal”.

He continued: the churches involved in the support project are still very few. We are certainly not where we were some years ago. But we are not yet at the dream-land. I believe we will go higher and higher as more people come to support the work from this year’s conference.

He added “I discovered that many believers are not being taught to lay their lives for the sake of the gospel. We are all trying to keep safe. It is good to keep safe and take all the precautions”.

“Yes, especially with COVID-19. We are beginning to learn that time is not on our side and that we need to get the message of the gospel out as fast as possible. The person you see today, you may not see tomorrow. We need to get this good news to people as fast as possible”.

  • God Empowers His People on the Altar of Prayer and Fasting!

God Empowers His People on the Altar of Prayer and Fasting!

    By Dr. David Oyedepo

Welcome to the concluding part of this teaching! I hope you were blessed by last week teaching. This week, we shall focus on: God Empowers His People on the Altar of Prayer and Fasting!

We discovered from Scriptures that God will only empower those who crave it because empowerment is not a Christmas gift. As it is written, In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified (John 7:37-39). The Holy Ghost is already here; however, He is only accessible by those who are thirsty for Him. A thirst connotes a crave and desperation for empowerment into next levels. However, empowerment of the Spirit answers largely to prayer and fasting. The Bible says, Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). To change our levels, we need to engage in prayer and fasting because it will require more than faith to deliver. So, it takes a thirst to secure empowerment into next levels (Isaiah 41:17-18, 44:3-4). When we get empowered above those things, they will bow out on their own.

Prayer and fasting are non-negotiable requirement for empowerment and re-empowerment. David said, O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary (Psalm 63:1-2). The longing of the flesh is fasting and the essence of empowerment is the conferment of dominion, to put us on top of life’s situations and circumstances. Empowerment has nothing to do with how young or old we are in the faith, it has to do with our own commitment to the revelations of the hour so we can make the most of it.  Paul the apostle said, In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness (2 Corinthians 11:27). That brought out the spiritual giant in him (Acts 14:11, 19:15; 28:3-6). The core mission of fasting is the empowerment of the saints. As it is written, Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke (Isaiah 58:6).

Also, understand that empowerment of the Spirit usually triggers supernatural breakthroughs. When Jesus returned empowered, the world came under His feet and His fame was all around the country. Concerning Him, the Bible records, And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about (Luke 4:14, 37). Empowerment usually triggers supernatural breakthroughs, breaking impossible barriers, triumphing where others travail and that was demonstrated in the life of Cyrus (Isaiah 45:1-3). That is the natural characteristics of empowerment; it subdues nations and renders kings helpless. Most importantly, we must understand that Jesus is the baptiser of the Holy Ghost and the Father is the Anointer ((Matthew 11:3; Acts 10:38). The word ‘anoint’ means empower. Therefore, one of the requirements for continuous empowerment is stewardship. As it is written, Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles (Isaiah 42:1). Serving God entitles us to empowerment and re-empowerment; however, it takes desperation to qualify for empowerment.

In summary, the altar of prayer is not limited to demanding for our desires but it is a platform for craving empowerment into next levels and beyond that. It is also a platform for securing answers to the bugging questions around our lives. Every genuine question of the believer is entitled to an answer from the Lord (Matthew 7:7-8). Remember, asking sincere questions with preparedness for answers is one of the ways to maximise the season of prayer and fasting. However, you must be born again. If you are not, this is an opportunity to do so. Simply say the following prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now, I know I am born again! Church launches free bus ride for pupils, elderly in honour of late overseer

In a move seen at honouring the memory of her late General Overseer, Spirit and Life Bible Church, Benin City, Eunice Gordon Osagiede, a free transport service for school children and the elderly has been launched in the Edo State.

Osagiede, late General Overseer of the church, passed on 7 December 2020 after a brief illness.

Tagged, Free-Eunice Gordon-Osagiede School Shuttle (EGOSS), the free bus project was conceptualised by Osagiede who was also the President of Godhead Prayer Ministry before her passage.

The Chairman, free-EGOSS, Monday Igbinigie said the initiative was that of the late General Overseer. According to him, Osagiede has expressed her desire to provide Edo children and the elderly free transportation during her last birthday.

“She believed in helping the downtrodden; she believed that nobody, irrespective of tribe or position should suffer. So, what you are seeing today is her pet project which we call Eunice Gordon-Osagiede School Shuttle, EGOSS,” said Igbinigie.

Igbinigie states further that the Presiding Bishop of the church and son of the late overseer, Godwin Osagiede, added the aged to the programme.

“It is a free bus ride for all students, both primary and secondary schools, and the only condition is that the students must be in their uniform. We feel that they (elderly) should be supported; this is our own token in supporting them in getting to anywhere they want to go to,” Igbinigie said.

According to Igbinigie, starting from 2nd, February, 10 of the church’s buses would be plying five different routes across Benin city.

“The routes are Sapele Road, Upper Sokponba, Ikpoba Hill, Ugbowo and Ekewan Road for a start and we will attached two buses to each route.

“While inside the buses on their way to school, civic education will be taught. We will teach them the basics of the Nigerian society and how to maintain good hygiene,” he stated.

Following the economic hardship witness in 2020 on the back of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic occasioned by the nationwide lockdown that followed,

The Presiding Bishop of Amazing Grace Pentecostal Church, Lagos, Chioma Grace Dauji has charged Nigerians to brace-up for great miraculous intervention of God in 2021.

Dauji said this in an interview with journalists recently in Lagos, said that “Nigeria is going to experience great miracle of God in the lives and endeavours of her citizens. It is going to be a good story of from pandemic and other crisis to prosperity and abundance in the lives of the people,”

in her message title, ‘Divine Visit of God’, said that one of the reason for the cross is to overcome crisis and because God has always remembered His people during their trying time as the time we are in now; is the reason He sent His Son to the cross for the salvation and redemption from every situation

Dauji in encouraging Nigerians and Christians said Nigerians should be expectant of God’s intervention notwithstanding the present difficulties and situations with prevailing societal challenges threatening their livelihood.

New service chiefs should inspire hope in Nigerians, says Ojo

    By Adeola Ogunlade

Presiding Bishop of Calvary Kingdom Church, Archbishop Joseph Ojo, has called on the new service chiefs appointed by the President to douse the tension across the country and give Nigerians hope of better security.

Ojo said this in an interview recently at the end of a Seven Days Prayer and Fasting organized by the church at the headquarters in Lagos, said that tension in the land is too high, its becoming volatile – they should douse the tension and give hope to the people that they can travel from here to Kaduna without being molested on the road. They should do that, and if they are able to do that, it will be kudos to the president.

He said l think they need to build on what they met on ground. There should be a synergy between the three arms, even four now including the police. There should be a synergy among them to douse the tension that is in the country.

Although, he lamented the delay in the appointment of the New service chiefs, said the Presidency should give them enabling ground to do their work professionally and if they are getting out of their professional mandate , they should be called to order .

“l think that was what was wrong with the other service chiefs: he left them there for too long, even after the complains. He should have changed them mid way and anybody coming in would have had some fear; if I didn’t perform I will be pushed out.

He encouraged Christian to keep their hope alive because in 2021; we are trusting God that those who seek him,  God will give them satisfaction and the fullness of joy. We are trusting God that there will be peace in this country.

He said “ Irrespective of what we are seeing now, the hand of God, which is the governor of the universe according to God’s words in Daniels in still in charge”

He stated that men may have their plan but God’s plan supercedes all. So, am believing God and some ministers of like minds that irrespective of all the bouhala we are having; definately there will still be peace. God will see us through.

Pharmacy is one of the most prestigious careers every parent would want their ward to pursue no doubt.

To think that a trained pharmacist would drop all the learning of that profession for the garb of a cook is quite unthinkable. But that is the case with Oluyemi Ogedengbe.

Oluyemi Ogedengbe became popular recently, when a video which had renowned Lagos Pastor, Tunde Bakare, preach on using your talent to succeed in life went viral on the internet. In it, the cleric among others, mentioned – ‘Yemi Ogedengbe’ as a trained pharmacist turned successful Caterer following her deepest passion.

Interestingly, Oluyemi Ogedengbe is the founder of Double Delicious Catering Services. A fast rising brand established, July, 2009.

According to her, she started out in what seems like a flourishing career as a Pharmacist. Worked for a while as a medical representative in a pharmaceutical company. Afterwards, began running her own retail pharmacy for about 10years only to discover that she was not being fulfilled and could not make a success of it.

Narrating further, She explained. “Sincerely, I did not find that inner fulfillment while working as a pharmacist. I had to put a pause on everything to seek God in prayers for direction for what to do next.

Surprisingly, in a dream, God showed me how big catering could be for me if I followed that path. However, prior to that time I had my hands in catering and was busy engaging in it at a small scale for my church simply because I loved to cook. She discloses.”

The Catering expert said while still in her dilemma, she got inspired severally by Pastor Tunde Bakare’s  timely messages. One of which is that God prospers through the work of our hands and would use those talents that are deposited in us.

Today, Double Delicious in it’s 11th year has become a brand to reckon with in the event space in Nigeria.

Obey God to avert negative prophesy in 2021 says cleric

    By Adeola Ogunlade

The Shepherd in Charge of The Celestial Church Of Christ, Imoleayo Cathedral, Ikola, Lagos, Prophet Michael Olusoji Fabiyi, has appealed to Christians to continue to pray and be obedience  to God’s word as that is the only way negative prophecy over Nigeria can be averted in 2021.

Fabiyi said this in an interview with journalists, said that this year, 2021 is a year of joy, peace and many blessings but there will be battles, people will kill each other, many lives shall be lost.

God, he claim told him that salary earners will labour without getting salary this year, likewise those that work for others. Many will be sacked, many will resign on their own without any payment.

“There will be serious crisis in the National Assembly, while fake prophets and ministers of God will increase this year, but they will be exposed”, he said.

For the government in power, he said, “in the government parastatals, there will be problem with governance, as they tried to put things in place but it’s taking the wrong direction to the point of evoking to criticism.

This respected man of God said, the prophecies are guide against impending dangers which needs urgent attention through prayers and supplication.

He believed that with prayers and obedience to the words of God, the crisis can be averted. We need to pray hard to God for the forgiveness of our sins and for God to heal our land.

Fabiyi posited that we need to be more closer to God than before, because it is very clear now that the end is nearer than imagine.

He added that since it is written in the Bible that the second coming of Christ will attract so many things as we are witnessing now. We must be careful and prepare for His coming “

  • How do we know when our Prayers are Answered?

How do we know when our Prayers are Answered?

    By Dr. David Oyedepo

Welcome to another exciting week! I hope you were blessed by last week teaching. This week, we shall focus on: How do we know when our Prayers are Answered?

While many believers feel that when they pray, God would answer when He thinks He should, some others do not even know when their prayers are answered, and they do not care to know. Please understand that we do not serve a deaf and dumb God, we serve a prayer answering God. As it is written, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not (Jeremiah 33:3). Many of us know the meaning of fervency in prayers, but we are yet to learn the meaning of diligently hearkening to His voice in response to our prayers. Furthermore, we must understand that prayer is a two-way communication channel (Matthew 7:8; Isaiah 58:9). And this is part of the privileges we have in fasting. Therefore, a season of fasting is a season of hearing in response to our demands and cries. We have that graphic example in the life of Abraham as he stood before the Lord in the gap for Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18:23-26). Abraham was hearing from God as he was talking to Him. Concerning Elijah, while he was at the cave, he said, And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice (1 Kings 19:11-12). That response gave clarity of direction to him; it brought an end to his frustration and opened a new chapter to his life. Many have never heard from God and this is because they have never been diligent enough to hear Him (Deuteronomy 28:1). Therefore, it is not enough to travail in prayers, we must diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord in response to our prayers. Paul said, For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me (Acts 27:23-25). His confidence came alive by the Word he heard from the Lord. Those example of prompt answers in Scriptures were answers to questions. Abraham was posing questions to the Father and He was responding (Genesis 18:30-32). David asked questions and he got instant answers to them (2 Samuel 5:19, 23-24). The response were prompt because they were specific questions. Only those who ask questions are entitled to answers (Jeremiah 33:3). That is why question asking is gateway to floods of revelations (Acts 2:37). Thus, let us take special delight in asking appropriate questions in specific terms on issues of interest to us.

How do we know when our Prayers are Answered?

    • Listen in Response to our Intercessions and Supplications: We should pray with our mouths and listen with our ears. We have too many praying mouths but very few listening ears. The Bible says, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God (Revelation 2:7; see also Revelation 3:6). That means we must tune up to the frequency of the Spirit because we cannot hear Him in the flesh (Revelation 1:10). Thus, it is not enough to be saved, it is important to be a man of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:14; Galatians 5:25).
    • When we have Prayed with Confidence in God and His Word: The Bible says, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We cannot obtain or find until we have prayed boldly (Psalm 34:2; Hebrews 10:35-36). We engage our confidence in God and His Word to find what we are looking for and obtain His promise. Concerning Abraham, the Bible records, He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness (Romans 4:20-22). His confidence in God and His Word was unshakeable and as a result, he obtained the promise.
    • When the Holy Ghost Bears Witness with our Spirit: It is written, The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God (Romans 8:16). So, we have to maintain spiritual sensitivity to pick that signal from the Lord in response to our prayer.
    • When Thanksgiving Takes over on any Prayer Subject: As it is written, Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Philippians 4:6). Praying for praying sake is mere religion; what makes an overcomer is praying for answer sake. One way to build our confidence is to lay hold on His will on that prayer subject and give Him quality thanks for answers (1 John 5:14-15).

In summary, when we have the Word backup for our desires, it reinforces our confidence in God. God and His Word are defined as two immutable things in the realm of the Spirit (1 John 5:14). There is nothing theoretical about the Word, the Word is practicable because it is profitable (Matthew 7:24; Joshua 1:8). • Engaging grace for supernatural flight!

    Engaging grace for supernatural flight!

    By Bishop Taiwo Akinola

So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy ~ Romans 9:16.

    Introduction:

You belong to a well-defined place in life. You’re not a product of your circumstances, you were separated from your mother’s womb for God’s glory. However, it is when your destiny truly engages an escape velocity that it can soar freely to accomplish the purpose(s) for which you were born. And, it is then and only then that you can begin to fly supernaturally.

In this regard, the God-factor in your race of life is of paramount importance. The God-factor is what we call “g-race”. Certainly, a new level of grace will be required for another on-time supernatural flight (Acts 4:31-33).

Please, never ascribe to luck or even hard-work what only the grace of God can procure. Every excelling greatness and noble accomplishment on earth are products of God’s grace. Joyous experiences of supernatural flight can only be by the power of the Holy Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). And, once you receive the tangible grace of God, you become approved to win and begin to cruise unhindered on your pathway to the top.

Most amazingly, God loves to give the rich benefits of His grace even to undeserving people, without demanding any compensation in return. Indeed, God’s grace is both un-earnable and un-repayable.

    What Is Grace?

Grace is the tangible and undeniable hand of God on a man’s life and in all his affairs (Titus 2:11). God’s grace practically reflects in the lives of its carriers. Paul testified, “I am what I am by the grace of God” (1 Corinthians 15:10).

Grace is a divine bestowal that any believer can take advantage of in order to cruise through the obstacles of life. Grace is God’s ability in man’s inability, provoking a new level of glory and bringing God’s solution for man’s frustration and failure.

It doesn’t matter how people see you. What really matters is how God sees you, and what level of His grace you have accessed. Your failings cannot make you a failure when God’s grace is in the picture.

Please note that grace does jump upon the recipients only by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, who breaks yokes of stagnation and every form of limitations in life. Without the help of the Holy Spirit, you cannot maintain the flow of grace in your life because every channel through which God’s grace flows requires the help of the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 1:7).

What Happens When Grace Enables You?

Grace is a major catalyst for supernatural performance. No matter how impossible things may appear to be, there shall be a performance for the man who has contacted God’s superlative grace.

When grace locates you, it compels wondrous things to happen in style in your life, and you naturally become a man that cannot be ignored. You become too loaded to fail and too relevant to be sidelined. You also break through against all odds to fulfill your mission on the earth.

God’s grace enables your success in any environment you find yourself. It is one of the vital mysteries that provoke supernatural breakthroughs on earth.

Your breakthrough does not lie in your strength (1 Samuel 2:9), hard work (Psalm 127:1-2), or mental smartness (Ecclesiastes 9:11; John 3:27; Romans 9:16). Your breakthrough lies in the grace of God, because it is His grace that makes all the difference in any life.

Nothing in life makes great like grace. You can never outgrow the grace of God, and there is no substitute for it on your supernatural flight to greatness. God said to Abraham, “I will make of thee a great nation…” (Genesis 12:2). Certainly, a day of favor is much more blissful than a thousand years of labor. I pray that, by grace, your destiny will start making a positive headway, in Jesus’ Name.

    Principles that Invigorate Grace

We are great because God has made us great in Christ Jesus. However, we need to walk in some principles to ensure we are always what God wants us to be. And, the following will lubricate your covenant position with God, any day!

The first principle that invigorates grace is the principle of our inheritance in Christ. Our new birth has engrafted onto us highflier status because of the supernatural life of God in us through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:17-20). And, we are partakers of the magnificent loftiness that is in Christ (Romans 8:17). That’s the platform from where God’s grace takes us on. Alleluia!

Next to this is a lifestyle of righteousness and kingdom mindedness (Psalms 5:12; Ps.102:13-14). When God sees that you’re all out to glorify Him, He will imbue you with greater grace upon the earth.

Besides, we must understand that honor precedes supernatural flight. When a man honours and loves the Lord, God will in turn honour him. Solomon honored God and he took his flight unto greatness (1 Kings 3:3; 11-12). God promoted him to such a high towering greatness that the Queen of Sheba, seeing him, almost lost her breath (1 Kings 10:4-5).

Furthermore, your gifts and seed offerings are like miracle lifts for those who wish to take their flight unto higher heights of glory, honour and accomplishment on earth (Psalms 45:12). Isaac sowed and reaped a hundred fold and he became exceedingly great until he was envied by his peers (Genesis 26:12-14).

Most certainly, we keep growing and waxing greater in grace for supernatural flight when we respect the principle of sowing: tithing, offerings, seeds of sacrifices, giving to the poor, giving our time and talents.

However, we must beware of anti-grace viruses and forces that are out to frustrate and to corrupt the grace of God in our lives. Where they go unchecked, they can cause grace to fail or, somehow, become frustrated (Galatians 2:21; Hebrews 12:15).

You don’t have to wait for grace to fail or become frustrated in your life; you should grow and mature in grace (2 Peter 3:18). You must ruthlessly deal with the viruses and the negative forces of sin, pride, prayerlessness,  ignorance, and lukewarmness, keeping them out of your life and even go forward to grow in grace.

Friends, it is the grace of God that articulates and defines greatness. When grace grows in your life, your accomplishments equally grow in leaps and bounds, soaring unto lofty places. This underscores the importance of guarding and enabling growth of God’s grace upon our lives, which is most secure for those who are saved in Christ Jesus.

Please open the door of your heart to Christ, today. Repent, accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour, be saved and enjoy a secure grace for supernatural flight. Happy Sunday!
