Change

We have always been an inch close

We have never grown more than an inch.

An inch has always been the point.

We are always close but never there.

We seem not to love our position but all we do is hustle nothing.

Nigeria has always been blessed but never blessed.

We saw CHANGE, we wanted Change, we approached CHANGE but CHANGE never seems to find us attractive to want us back.

CHANGE took a closer look at us and found out we are never going to CHANGE. CHANGE saw a pessimist and gave up.

CHANGE saw a lukewarm attitude and gave up.

Who are we to blame CHANGE for giving up when CHANGE doesn’t seem to find a POINT OF CHANGE.

It was the first knock we heard. It was initially faint, and then it became deeper. We thought we could handle it, but we never knew CORRUPTION came all loaded up.

CORRUPTION always has it all figured out.  CORRUPTION always takes one step at a time until it gets all his steps taken.

CORRUPTION! The god of all the downfalls. No one survives CORRUPTION without a broken bone.

I am here, I will stand by you, I will pillar you up.

GOVERNMENT keeps giving hopes that he himself does not have. GOVERNMENT always portrays himself as the CHANGE we have been waiting for but in reality, he is the CORRUPTION we have been avoiding. GOVERNMENT is supposed to put everything in order, but they just put us in an anarchical situation.

I dare say the GOVERNMENT is now a clown, blaming their shortcomings not on fellow human again, but on unorganized creatures (ANIMALS).

I still say who are we to blame CHANGE for giving upon us when he never saw a POINT OF CHANGE.

Be pure, be righteous, do not be filthy and help your neighbor that is RELIGION making a statement.

The Holy books are being misinterpreted by the so-called holy people (Irony). Nobody seems to know God more than they do; those making religion do or die affair forgetting that RELIGION is a way of life.

The so-called holy people judging people for doing wrong, hypocrites!

RELIGION is not wrong it’s just the people that have gotten it all wrong.

Using the Holy books to justify their own stupidity (Judgmental goals).

It was supposed to make us better, it was supposed to make us feel better, EDUCATION was supposed to be that thing, but it’s not even a thing anymore. “Go to school and be a better person” that used to be the statement, but now parents are scared because going to school does not make a better person. EDUCATION is losing its value, no more regards for EDUCATION.

JAMB CUT-OFF MARK is not even a cut off mark, but just a mark that was supposed to make us better has been rubbed in the mud.

But EDUCATION is not even meant to be blamed, but we ourselves that refused to be EDUCATED.

We chose what to be EDUCATED on computer and the Internet that was supposed to develop us.

We now use it to defraud people. All I say is we use EDUCATION wrongly, we use the Internet uselessly.

Despite all these things, we are still standing. We are a nation, we are strong, we play to win, we can CHANGE.

We can still give CHANGE another chance, but we have to wake up from our slumber, else we remain broken.

Nigeria! Wake and fight.
