A Kano Chief Magistrate Court yesterday remanded a Chinese national, Geng Quarong suspected to have killed his ex-Nigerian lover, Ummukulsum Buhari in a correctional facility.

Geng was arraigned before the court by the Kano State Police Commissioner for culpable homicide.

Magistrate Hanif Sanusi Yusuf ordered his remand pending legal advice from the state ministry of Justice.

The case was adjourned till October 13.
