Plateau State Governor and Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Simon Bako Lalong, described Senator Tinubu as a woman of substance who has touched the lives of many people across the country.
The governor said the wife of the APC flag bearer has also distinguished herself as an excellent woman who can hold her own in any duty.
He noted that apart from accomplishing so much in her political career, the Lagos Central senator has also maintained a high reputation of being a worthy partner and support base for Asiwaju Tinubu who, over the years, has contributed enormously to the growth of democracy in Nigeria.
Lalong expressed joy that the distinguished Senator, who has a track record of mobilising, mentoring and working with women from all walks of life, was already galvanising Nigerian women from all parts of the country towards ensuring that Asiwaju Tinubu and other candidates of the party win the 2023 general election.
Dignitaries, comprising governors, lawmakers and other eminent Nigerians, yesterday poured encomiums on the senator representing Lagos Central in the National Assembly, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on yesterday’s celebration of her 62nd birthday.

The APC Campaign Council boss was optimistic that Senator Tinubu would use her goodwill, experience, kind heartedness and passion for women, youth, and children to canvass for their welfare when her husband becomes President next year.
In a statement by his spokesman, Dr. Makut Simon Macham, the Plateau governor wished her more years of good health, wisdom and God’s protection.
Also, Senate Chief Whip Orji Uzor Kalu described Senator Remi Tinubu as a strong advocate of gender equality and democracy.
In a goodwill message to the Lagos Central senator, Kalu said: “On behalf of my family and good people of Abia North Senatorial District, I felicitate Senator Oluremi Tinubu on her 62nd birthday anniversary.
“Senator Tinubu is a source of inspiration and role model to the womenfolk, many of whom have continually benefitted from her benevolence.
“She is a woman of virtue, who is passionate about an ideal society. I applaud her giant strides in all facets of life.”
The Abia North lawmaker wished Senator Remi Tinubu a memorable birthday celebration.
Also, the senator representing Plateau South, Prof. Nora Ladi Daduut, hailed Senator Remi Tinubu for coming up with various people-oriented programmes for her senatorial district.
