From Ernest Nwokolo, Abeokuta, and Omolola Afolabi, Lagos

Two commuters, one of them a toddler, died on Tuesday when their commercial bus somersaulted on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Seven other passengers were injured in the incident, which happened near Youth Camp following a burst tyre, an eyewitness said.

Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the crash, adding that the injured were taken to hospital while the dead were moved to a morgue in Sagamu.
