Nigerian entertainers with medical degrees

INDIGENOUS Movie Makers Association (IMMAN) has been urged to use its talents to promote morality and culture.

Former Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan spoke at the inauguration of IMMAN executives  in Lagos.

IMMAN, he said, were  language protectors whose platform could showcase culture and languages.

“Their coming together is a step forward because it shows there is future for our languages.

Bamigbetan, also director of Media Relations for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Presidential Media Campaign Council, urged the exco to improve morality by deeds and comments.

“Parents should encourage their wards to speak indigenous languages,” said Bamigbetan, who was guest of honour.

New President of IMMAN, and Chief Executive Officer of  X- Media Communications Mr Tunde Lawrenson said their focus include accountability, transparency and responsibility and good content.

“We will ensure we have regular human capital development to ensure quality…” said Lawrenson.

Commending the state for its support, he said IMMAN  would leverage on partnerships and build the IMMAN Trust Fund to take care of the welfare of the practitioners.
