The crisis on the open space ground at Santo’s layout, Shasha Akowonjo in Alimosho Local Governments Area of Lagos State is generating heat as some alleged land grabbers claim to be the rightful owners of a park allegedly approved as part of Santos layout plan since 1977 to be used as recreation centre.
CDA chairman, Alhaji Ganiu Olatunji Olawale, said the community members were surprised to find out that the community development association gate, mounted to forestall encroachment on the open space was removed on the order of Oba Shasha, Oba Babatunde Lawal Ogunrombi and replaced with another one.
