Ikirun community, headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State, stood still as the monarch, Akirun of Ikirun, Oba Rauf Adedeji was buried on Friday.

The monarch died in a hospital in Osogbo capital of Osun on Wednesday night after a brief illness.

His remains were taken to the community in the company of some indigenes.

Oba Adedeji remains were interred after the performance of Muslim rites.

Traditional rites were also performed on the body of the late ruler before it was buried.
