IBA Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos has begun grading and sandfilling roads in the council.
Roads being repaired are Memudu, Mebamu, Gospel, and Onokwa streets.
Council Chairman Yisa Jubril said this was part of his electoral promises.
He noted that good roads would increase productivity for inhabitants.

“The local government will improve access roads, link roads to increase productivity and enhance profitability… we are ready to fix link roads,” he said.
He urged residents to take responsibility for the projects.
“I urge you to refrain from any act that may undermine the durability of these projects. There are several infrastructural projects competing for taxpayers’ money, and we all have the responsibility of optimising resources and protecting our infrastructure,” he said.
He urged residents to pay their taxes and levies to make the community better.
