Council chair visits skill centre

The Chairman of Iba Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Yisa Jubril has visited the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs & Poverty Alleviation, Skills Acquisition (WAPA) at Iba.

Jubril, otherwise known as Abila, assured the head of the centre of improved collaboration that will be beneficial to the inhabitants of the centre and the council.

The Principal of the centre, Mrs Victoria Motunrayo Boyi, lauded the chairman’s demonstration of “readiness to work and passion for service”

According to her, the gesture showed that the new council chief was ready to serve.

She complained of low patronage of trainees at the centre, urging youths in the council to pay more interest in skill acquisition.
