The Court of Appeal, Kano Division on Friday upheld the verdict of the Kano Industrial Court that dismissed the case of suspension filed by the former Vice Chancellor of Federal University Dutsinma, Katsina State Professor Abdu Kaita.

The case was struck out for lack of merit.

Justice A.A Wambai read the judgment on behalf of the two other judges.

Meanwhile, Prof. Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi remains the substantive Vice Chancellor of the university.

Also, the management has constituted a committee to review the employment processes and issuance of offer of Appointments from November 2019 to date.
