COVID-19: Hon ARA donates cash, relief items to constituents

As the world grapples with the Coronavirus pandemic, Hon Ayoade Rasheed Adegboyega (ARA) on Tuesday, donated one million naira and food items to support the constituents in managing and cushioning the COVID-19 pandemic effect.

These donations which were done through his ARA foundation platform, brought succour and smiles to Oluyole constituents. The president of the foundation, Mr Olusegun Ilori who served as the committee head, monitored the disbursements of funds and distribution of food items to the individuals.

In a statement released, Hon. ARA explained saying, “this is a time for us all to come together and support each other, all fingers are not equal and those that are blessed more than others should rise and be their brother’s keeper in times like this, and not only during electioneering period.”

According to him, the scheme was targeted towards constituents of Oluyole federal constituency, regardless of their political party affiliation. While calling on other well meaning indigenes of the state to support government initiatives in these trying moments, he also enjoined residents of Oyo state to follow government guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus.
