AN agro-allied company, Siat Nigeria Limited, has donated 50 litres of palm oil to Etche and Emohua local government areas in Rivers State to cushion the economic effects of ongoing lockdowns in the state.

Speaking during the presentation of the item, the Public Relations Manager of the company, Mr. Lucky Ezihuo, said the donation of the firm, which undertakes the business of oil palm production and processing, was a way of identifying with the people.

Ezihuo commended the state government for its relentless war against the pandemic including measures put in place to prevent the virus from spreading in the local government areas.

He said the litres of palm oil donated by the company would complement the palliatives distributed in the area by the state government to mitigate the effects of the fight against the pandemic.

Describing the period as extremely challenging, the company urged the people to remain strong and courageous in the face of the pandemic.
