Dapchi attack: Police contact slain officers’ families

YOBE State Police Commissioner Yahaya Abubakar has confirmed that he is in touch with the families of the seven police officers killed last week by Boko Haram in Dapchi town.

Abubakar told our correspondent that arrangements were being made between the state police command and the families of the officers for their burial.

“Yes, all the families of my men that lost their lives in the Dapchi attack have been contacted. We are making arrangements in conjunction with the families for the bodies to be moved to their different homes for befitting burials,” CP Yahaya said.
