The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, is set to confer an honorary chieftaincy title on the Chief Executive Officer of Ovation Media Group, Chief Dele Momodu.
A statement by the Press Secretary to Oba Akanbi said Momodu and his wife will be appointed as Aare Atayese and Yeye Aare Atayese of Iwoland as the most suitable to enliven his spirit towards the development of Iwoland.

“Having contributed immensely to the promotion of Yoruba culture and tradition, and your mental beneficence through national and international media in ensuring quality governance is delivered, my throne (Oluwo in Council), considered you worthy and most suitable for the honorary chieftaincy title of Aare Tayese of Iwoland and your wife, as Yeye Aare Tayese of Iwoland.
“The need for more progressive minds that will aid the prosperity of Iwoland informed the chosen of the Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu and his wife, as Aare Atayese and Yeye Aare Atayese of Iwoland.
“Both the palace and the title receiver have agreed to stage the installation on October 2 at Oluwo’s Palace, Iwo, Osun State.
“The growing of Nigerian, African and international journalism was not without your attention. Your makings in quality pieces of advice, connections and goal getting spirit are needed to catapult Iwoland to an enviable height.”
