Disney Martinez, also known as Disney de la Concepcion, has an impressive life portfolio. A dynamo in the marketing world, she made a name for herself serving her clients and amassing her fortune through hard work and marketing mastery.
On social media, she has acquired over a million followers with frequent updates about her loving marriage, fitness routines, and most of all, the fun activities she enjoys with her two energetic children. But in between cultivating and maintaining all of that success, what is Disney’s hobby of choice? Traveling.
“My favorite travel destination is anywhere with white sands and clear water and lots of sun!” Disney eagerly explains. One quick peruse through her Instagram handle FitCouple and you will see that she’s not lying. Hundreds of photos appear almost indistinguishable from each other were it not for their location tags. Saint Lucia, Tanzania, Jamaica, Dominican Republic…all denoted by Disney lounging beachside on white sand with clear waves crashing in the distance. And those are just a handful of her destinations since last Summer.
Disney isn’t one of those straight-to-the-beach girls, either. Recently, her husband took her on a surprise trip to Africa for their 10 year wedding anniversary. They went on safari and enjoyed the local beaches, but her most memorable time was spent with the locals and the Maasai tribes.
Disney explained that it “…really made us reflect and appreciate all our blessings so much more.” She also shared that FaceTiming her children from the village was a moment she will never forget. “The faces and excitement of both the Maasai kids and ours were just priceless.”
One can see the many photos of her children enjoying local cuisine and taking in the culture of foreign countries on Disney’s social media accounts and realize that travel is not just a getaway for her. “We love teaching (our kids) about history and the world from first hand experiences.” A very proud and involved mother, successful entrepreneur, and social media star, Disney knows and appreciates all the wonder that the world has to offer.
