Daar Communication Chairman, Raymond Dokpesi has made an immense contribution in the Nigerian media, says Bukola Saraki, the former Senate President of the National Assembly.
Saraki showered this accolade on Friday in commemoration of Dokpesi’s 68th birthday.
‘I felicitate with Chief Raymond Dokpesi, the founder of Raypower FM & African Independence Television (AIT), on the occasion of his 68th birthday. Chief Dokpesi has done so much to revolutionize the media in Nigeria and I pray that he continues to do so for many more years’, he wrote on Twitter this afternoon.

In recent times, Daar Communications, the owners of the African Independent Television and Raypower FM has come under the scrutiny of Nigeria’s National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

The stations were suspended in June 2019 on the ground of violating professional ethics but the ban was later lifted in the same month.
