Eminent people have felicitated with the Oniru of Iru Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, Abisogun II, on his ascension.
In a congratulatory message, the Oniworo of Iworo Kingdom, Oba Oladele Kosoko, said that the ascension of the Oniru to the throne of his forefathers was a confirmation of his good character, leadership skills, commitment, performance, humility and sincerity to the state.
The Eti-Osa Indigene Forum, an umbrella body of sons and daughters of Eti-Osa Community under the chairmanship of Alhaji Abideen Lawal also rejoiced with the Oniru.

It beseeched God Almighty to bestow on him knowledge, wisdom and understanding required to pilot the affairs of his kingdom.
The Association of Baales-in-Council in Eti Osa East Local Council Development Area, under the chairmanship of Chief Shakiru Akinlade, expressed happiness about the ascension to the throne by the Oniru and congratulated him on his installation as the 15th Oniru.
The University of Port- Harcourt, Lagos State chapter, also joined the league of Oniru’s well-wishers.
In a congratulatory letter signed by the President of the association, Mrs. Ebisan Onyema and Secretary, Ms. Ini Iyang, the association prayed God Almighty to grant the Oniru wisdom, grace and good health to steer the ship of his kingdom.
