A retired Assistant Comptroller of Customs, Salami Agbaje Fasanya and his wife, Titilayo, have appealed to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu to rescue them.
They accused Adewunmi Odutala and Kehinde Odubade Atiku of allegedly destroying their property.
The couple appealed to former president Olusegun Obasanjo and other prominent people in Ogun State, seeking their assistance.
They alleged that their one acre of land known as No. 13, 15, Isiaka Oseni Street, 1, River Jordan and 15, 17, & 19, Yusuf Ibadan Street, Aiyetoro-Itele has been sold to unsuspecting buyers.
They said that they were operating a poultry farm on the land and also granted leasehold on a portion of it via a tenancy agreement dated June11, 2016 to Lakeshore Agro Allied Services Limited, a company owned by Gbolagade Adeniji.
The couple added that the owner of Lakeshore Agro Allied Services Limited (Gbolagade Adeniji) illegally invited the duo of Adewunmi Abiodun Odutala and Kehinde Adekunle Odubade to dispossess them of the land.
They stated that the land was fraudulently sold to unsuspecting buyers and a plot was allegedly given to Gbolagade.
The petitioners warned that the ownership of the land is a subject of litigation in suit No-HCT/711/2019 involving Salami Agbaje Fasanya vs. Kehinde Adekunle Odubade & Another pending before Justice Fabamwo of High Court 6, Ota, Ogun State.
