The webinar, with the theme: “Reducing Business Costs with Sustainability Programmes” on Friday, June 24, focused on the types of sustainability initiatives that can  helps  reduce business costs and achieve sustainable environment for everyone to live in.

Chief Clients Officer at AXA Mansard Rashidat Adebisi said: “As a leader in the global insurance space, we create initiatives that solve problems in line with our purpose to “act for human progress by protecting what matters”.

Mrs Lawani added, “All industries will need to implement structural reforms and reinvest in the society in order to achieve the target SDGs by 2030.”

The company believes the AXA Week for Good initiative will create an occasion for not just its employees, but the entire society to learn more about the impact of waste on the environment and how to prevent, re-use and recycle waste whenever possible.

Rashidat concluded the session by reinforcing AXA’s believe that it’s a collective responsibility to manage our impact on the environment by reducing resource use and promoting climate change awareness throughout the world.
