Ogun State Government said yesterday that there was cordial relationship between it and the Federal Government on fixing of the Lagos-Sango Ota-Abeokuta Expressway.
It said both were in agreement that indigenes and residents, who made use of the road daily, were suffering because of its deplorable condition.
Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, who made this known at a news conference at the Olusegun Osoba Press Centre, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, said the state and federal governments would find a solution to the deplorable sections of the road.
Talabi, who noted that both governments in the past looked at some issues together and took turns to find solution to them, said palliative work would soon begin on Sango Ota-Ijoko Road to alleviate the suffering of the residents.
