Falz has shared his thoughts and experiences working with Adekunle Gold on their new collaboration.
Falz, in a chat with The Nation, offered insight into how the collaboration resulted in a track that has been making waves across the music scene.
Falz admitted that working with Adekunle Gold was a pleasant surprise. “Before the song, if I had been asked what kind of vibe I would feature Adekunle Gold on, I would never have predicted it would be this kind of vibe,” he said.

Despite initial reservations, the two artists found their groove quickly. “As soon as we did it, I absolutely loved it,” Falz revealed.
Speaking on lessons while working on his latest EP, Falz said “I learned that I can make music in ways I’m not used to. As a creative, you develop a system for writing and recording, and you get comfortable with that. Sometimes, it’s important to pause and step out of your routine. With these recordings, I had to do that, and I enjoyed it. Now, I realize I can make music outside of my usual methods.”
