“It’s bold of you to assume that I wish for you to be in the marriage with me. It’s bold of you to assume that if I’m actually getting married, I will share it. It’s so funny.

In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Falz admitted that one of his biggest struggles is finding someone who genuinely likes him for who he is, beyond fame and success.

According to him, this lack of balance has kept him from committing fully, as he does not want to “scatter things up” or hurt himself or anyone else.

Falz stressed that while he remains cautious, he believes it is better to be honest about one’s intentions and level of readiness for commitment.

“I’ve not found anybody who likes me. In all sincerity, it’s incredibly tough. It’s incredibly tough to sort of have that. When I say that, I mean a healthy love/ family life and being in entertainment. Right. It’s incredibly tough.

“Not knowing how to navigate that, coupled with feeling like I don’t want to just scatter things up, has resulted in me just sort of staying away. You know, some people will say he’s running away from commitment. Yes. Is it? To an extent, I wouldn’t lie, yes. Yes.

“But it’s one thing to know that you are not prepared for commitment. It’s another thing to deceive yourself that you are, and mess things up both for yourself and the other person. So it’s me just being cautious. Too cautious, maybe, possibly. I would admit that could be. But yeah, I would say it’s me just being cautious,” he said.

I do not have a relationship with Bobrisky, says Falz

Rapper and actor Falz has denied having any form of relationship with crossdresser Bobrisky, stating that he only tried to help the latter after the he reached out for assistance with a case.

Falz, in an interview on Arise TV, explained that he responds to many people who seek help, and Bobrisky’s message wasn’t exceptional.

This clarification comes amid Falz’s ongoing defamation suit against social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM), who leaked an alleged phone conversation between Falz and Bobrisky while Bobrisky was in prison.

Falz noted that VDM has yet to enter a defense in the court case, despite the suit being ongoing.

Falz expressed regret over helping Bobrisky, stating that the experience has made him more cautious about assisting others in the future.

“Update on the court case, very much still in court. There’s a substantive suit which myself and my dad are alleging defamation. We filed the case and ever since we filed the case, they have never entered the defense. Instead, they entered a preliminary objection saying the court doesn’t have jurisdiction to hear the case or something.

“As at the last date, I was in court. The court has thrown out that preliminary objection. Now they have to enter a defense or the court will just go on to rule on the case. So that’s the update. I can’t really say much about the subject of current litigation, so I will leave it there.

“I never had any relationship with Bobrisky prior to that phone call. He messaged me on Instagram and said, ‘I’m in this case and I want to speak to you about how you can help.’ And you know, thousands of people messaged me about similar stuff like that. This is not a special case; it’s not exceptional in any way.

“In a lot of those cases, I will give them an audience, like what is the P, how can I help? Compassionately. Little did I know. Anyways, as they say, once bitten, twice shy. At the end of the day, I’m not going to, maybe I’m not going to help anyone again in my life, but maybe I will be much more conscious,” he stated.

He emphasised that he’s no longer a Christian and that his “religion of love” prioritises individual freedom and mutual consent.

He said: “I think people would read the tweet and just assume that I meant according to Christianity.

“I wasn’t really speaking from that perspective. I practice the religion of love. Under that religion, I don’t think fornication is a sin.

“Because I looked at it, I strictly addressed the issue: Why are we not allowed to engage in this premarital intercourse? What is the issue? Who does it offend?

“These are not married people. These are two unmarried people. Willingly. Consensually. Personally, I don’t think there is a problem there.

“I’m no longer a Christian. I practice religion of love.”

What inspired my album ‘The Feast’, by Falz

Rapper and actor Falz has revealed the inspiration behind his newly released album, “The Feast”.

According to him, in an interview on Naija FM, he focuses on the theme of community, highlighting the need for Africans to shift away from the “every man for himself” mentality.

He said he believes the approach hinders the continent’s growth and progress.

According to Falz, both leaders and ordinary citizens prioritise their interests over the collective well-being, which needs to change.

Falz criticises African leaders for looking out only for themselves and their families, often disregarding everyone else.

He emphasises that people need to think about the collective and support one another to reach their full potential.

While the album’s message is not as direct as some of his previous works, Falz encourages listeners to reflect deeply on the themes presented.

“The message I’m pushing across is ‘community.’ I feel like we need a sense of community because the mentality that we have in this country and Africa is the ‘every man for himself’ one, and it’s not good”.

“We constantly complain about how the government isn’t good. Why?

“We need to think about the collective, every person, and we need to be there for each other. The only way we can progress and reach our full potential as a continent is if we move together. That’s the general message of my album, even though it’s not literal. It’s not as intense and direct as some of my other ones. With this one, you need to sit and listen.”

“But it’s something that I can’t actually said ‘yes’ to.

“It’s something I cannot outrightly say ‘yes’ to. And it’s so sad. But I can’t also outrightly say ‘no’ because I’m pro-Nigerian and I really believe that we can actually get it right. But I don’t know, I don’t know, but let’s see”.

Falz sparks backlash after claiming ‘Fornication is not a sin’

Nigerian rapper Falz has stirred controversy online following his bold claim that “fornication is not a sin,” a statement that challenges widely accepted Christian teachings.

The remark, posted on social media, quickly ignited a flurry of reactions, particularly from religious users who cited several biblical passages to refute the artist’s assertion. Verses such as 1 Corinthians 6:18, 1 Corinthians 5:9-11, and Galatians 5 were commonly referenced as clear condemnations of fornication.

One user, Olivia, described Falz as one of the “end-time celebrities” spreading misleading doctrines. She wrote, “1 Cor. 6:18 tells us to flee from it, as it is even a sin against one’s own body. The Bible also warns in 1 Cor. 5:9-11 to avoid fornicators. Galatians 5 makes it clear that God despises fornication.”

While some agreed with Falz’s perspective, arguing for a more progressive interpretation of morality, the majority of responses strongly disagreed, accusing the rapper of promoting values contrary to Christian faith.

The debate continues to fuel discussions on the intersection of faith, personal belief, and celebrity influence.

“God instructed us to resist all sin, but when it comes to fornication — a sin of the flesh — He asked us to flee. I guess you guys are part of the end-time celebrities paid to spread false teachings. Painful… I liked you.”

While another user, Fash Daddy, repeatedly stated, “Fornication is a sin, FLEE. Fornication is a sin, FLEE. Fornication is a sin, FLEE. Fornication is a sin, FLEE.”

On the other hand, some users defended Falz’s right to express his opinion, arguing that fornication is not considered a sin in legal or cultural contexts.

One user, DataCraftman, noted that, “Sin is for religious people, and fornication to them is a sin. Fornication is a legal act in our country. Leave sin for people wey know about am jare.”

Another user, Seunidowusings, referenced Jewish tradition and Exodus 22:16, arguing that consensual sex between two people doesn’t necessarily require marriage or societal approval.

The user wrote: “Exodus 22:16 says: ‘If a man seduces a virgin who is not pledged to be married and sleeps with her, he must pay the bride-price, and she shall be his wife. If her father refuses to give her to him, he must still pay the bride price for virgins.’

“Two young people don’t need to marry before they have sex. Also, intending couples don’t need approval from parents, pastors, churches, or society through a wedding ceremony to have sex”.
