Family of murdered OAU student seeks Reps help to get justice

The family of Mr Timothy Adegoke, a postgraduate student of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), who was allegedly murdered in a hotel in Osun State, has urged the House of Representatives to help it get justice.

The late Adegoke was in Osun to sit for an examination at the OAU Distance Learning Centre, Moro.

The family made the call in a petition to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajbiamila, signed by the deceased’s younger brother, Mr. Adegoke Olugbade, of Olori’s Compound New Eruwa, Eruwa, Ibarapa East Local Government Area Oyo State.

It was written through the member, representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Hon. Oluyemi Adewale Taiwo.

“We shall be very grateful for your intervention, on behalf of the family,” the petition sighted by The Nation reads in part.
