The Federal Government expressed shock at yesterday’s invasion of the National Assembly and the attendant snatching of the mace.
Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed said security agencies had been directed to immediately unravel the circumstances surrounding the breach of security that led to the invasion.
Mohammed said the security around the National Assembly complex would also
be reinforced to prevent a recurrence.
