‘Fed Govt weighing options in Nigeria-Ghana relations’

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Adeniyi Adebayo yesterday said the government is weighing all options in resolving the ongoing trade rift between Nigerian traders in Ghana and the government of Ghana.

Adebayo disclosed this during the inauguration of the newly elected executive members of Commerce and Industry Correspondent Associations of Nigeria Abuja Chapter (CICAN) in Abuja, stating that the consultation is going on.

According to him, consultation is going on at the diplomatic level between the two countries to ensure that the matter be resolved amicably.

The minister appreciated the reporters good coverage of the Ministry’s   activities since his assumption of office as minister, as he cherished the cordial relationship that exists between him and the reporters.

He further called for closer collaboration between the Ministry and CICAN and assured the members of the ministry’s continuous support.

Adebayo also said the ministry will soon come up with various programmes.
