No fewer than 300 children have received free meals from Feeders Foundation.
The foundation also empowered some private school teachers in the slum community of Sogunro, Iwaya/Makoko in Lagos.
The latest were parts of the different interventions by the foundation to mitigate socio-economic impacts of the coronavirus pandemic.
The feeding and empowerment programme held last weekend with product support from Rite Foods Nigeria and financial support from the United Parcel Service (UPS) and individual philanthropists.
Lead of the Foundation, Hunsu Olusegun, explained the project was to rally support for members of the community to survive harsh realities of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He added the organisation would continue to make impacts in the locality with more support by good-spirited individuals and bodies.
Beneficiaries showered prayers on the foundation and sponsors for the kind gestures.
