As part of activities to mark the end-of-year, Pardee Foods Nigeria Limited, Ota, one of the frontline biscuits and confectionery producing companies held a get-together for staff members.
The event which took place at the Unit 2 of the company, located along Idiroko road Ota Ogun state, had in attendance both the management and workers of the company.
In his welcome address, the General Manager of the company, Ritesh Sachdev represented by the Finance manager, Bharat Gupta acknowledged manpower as the very important growth of the company.
Gupta reiterated that the growth and success of any company lies with the regular and well motivated staff, albeit giving bonuses and bringing them closer to the management to enlighten them more on the vision and mission of such company.
“Nigerian economy is unstable, at times it performs very smoothly and at times it performs woefully like the one we experienced in 2016 but in spite of that Nigeria is a growing market because her population is the seventh biggest in the world and first in Africa.”
Echoing similar sentiments, the Human Resource Manager of the company, Olufemi Ogungbuyi expressed joy and appreciation to God for seeing the company through 2018 production year even as he commended management commitment to staff welfare.
Highpoint of the event was the presentation of prize to Top FC who emerged winner in football competition earlier played at Ado-odo/Ota Local Government School 3 playing field and dancing competitions among workers and the management.
