Firm eyes upstream oil gas sector

Falcon Corporation Limited said it is  eyeing becoming a major player in the upstream oil and gas sector.

Its Co-founder/Executive Director, Mrs. Audrey Joe-Ezigbo, said after 25 years of delivering consistent value in the oil and gas sector, the next phase of its growth trajectory is to play in the upstream sector.

Audrey, who attributed the success so far to unwavering commitment to the company’s core values of quality, professionalism, integrity and innovation, expressed optimism that the company will achieve its target.

Giving insights into Falcon’s 25 years journey, she said the company commenced operations from a humble beginning as an oil service firm in Port Harcourt, Rivers State in 1994.

“The journey of Falcon is a statement on institution building,” she said, adding that this was why the company, which is 100 per cent indigenous, strongly believes in and supports the Nigerian local content policy.

“We send our people for training abroad and they bring back the skills to Nigeria. It’s our own contribution to Nigeria’s growth,” she stated.

Audrey, who said the firm is just one of several other corporate organisations in the country, challenged others to contribute their quotas to the country’s growth, especially in job creation. “We have an impending social implosion as a good percentage of Nigeria’s population is youths with no jobs,” she said.
