Former PDP national treasurer decamp to APC

The immediate past National Treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Buhari Bala alongside his supporters, 4 local government chairmen of the PDP.

The event also saw 5000 thousand  KWANKWASIYA group in Argungu have finally defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in kebbi state.

Bala also donated a 53-suit office plaza and 11 cars to President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Atiku Bagudu campaign organization immediately after his defections from PDP to The ruling party APC.

They were all received by Governor Atiku Bagudu and other APC leaders in the state, including the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, at the flag-off of APC  President Buhari  /Governor Bagudu  campaign held in Argungu local government area of  kebbi state

Speaking at the event,  Buhari Bala said they were convinced by the great achievements of the APC-led governments both at the state and national levels.

He promised to work for the success of the APC in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.

In his remarks, the kebbi state Chairman of APC, Arc. Bala Sani  Kangiwa, said the people of the state had no reason whatsoever not to vote for APC in the next elections because of the achievements recorded by President  Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Atiku  Bagudu urging the people to get there PVC ready in other to vote massively for the APC at all level come 2019 general elections.

The Director-General Buhari/Bagudu campaign organization, Alhaji Suleiman Argungu, said there was no local government that had not benefitted from Bagudu’s projects, just as he mentioned some of the projects executed by the federal government in the state. He called on eligible voters to ensure they obtained their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) before the elections.

According to Argungu, the economic policy of President Buhari is succeeding, citing the diversification of economy which gave birth to the  WACCOT rice mill in Argungu, Kamba rice  Mill in Kamba as a result of the anchor borrower programme which was flagged off in kebbi state by  President  Muhammadu  Buhari Administration. He, however, commended the President in the fight against insurgency, corruption and in the provision of infrastructures across the country.
