Four arrested in Ondo

Officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have arrested four suspects and impounded four trucks belonging to the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) loaded with 135, 000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).

Omorawa Innocent, Pauline Osai, Osai Iyanu and Goodday Igybor drove the trucks, which had no valid loading documents, otherwise known as way bill.

The State Commandant, Adeyinka Fasui, told reporters that they were arrested on the Ore-Lagos Road.

Fasui said trucks with no valid loading documents carry  products from vandalised oil pipelines.

He noted that the command had begun its investigation.
