FOUR suspected armed robbers have been killed by policemen working with a vigilance group in Oviorie Community, Ethiope East council area of Delta State.
The Nation gathered that the incident occurred on Friday night, while the hoodlums were on the run.
According to reports, the suspects were gunned down by the operatives after robbing some residents of the community.
The hoodlums were reported to have engaged the security team deployed in the area in a gun battle for over 30 minutes.

The policemen backed by the vigilantes subdue them, leading to the killing of four members of the gang.
Other members of the gang reportedly fled.
Some arms recovered from the deceased include two locally-made guns and a tricycle, otherwise known as ‘Keke Napep’.
Police spokesperson Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the incident yesterday.
She said the robbers were operating at Oviorie and Ovu communities when they were killed, adding that efforts were on to apprehend their fleeing partners.
