How to fulfill destiny, by Agboli

Christians who want to fulfill destiny must chase God and become committed to serving others in humility, General Overseer of The Victorious Army Ministries International, Apostle Joseph Agboli, has stated.

He said the journey to fulfillment of destiny starts with total submission to God and pursuing His agenda.

Agboli spoke last Thursday with reporters ahead of the 15th Bethel Victory convention of the church slated for November 27-December 2.

The convention with the theme fulfilling your glorious destiny will feature speakers such as Apostles Joshua Talena, Tim Gbasha,  Paul Odola and Ryan Lestrange.

Gospel artiste such as Tope Alabi, Tim Godfrey, Praise Machine, Kelvin Sapp and Laolu Gbenjo will also be part of the convention at the Acme road, Lagos international headquarters of the church.

Agboli said: “Every man has a purpose and mandate to fulfill. Once we heed to God and realise what He wants us to do, we would get there.

“Our journey to destiny requires submission to God, commitment to His agenda and excellence. Once we agree to align with God, destiny fulfillment becomes automatic.”

His wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Blessing Agboli, lamented hijackers have kept Nigeria from fulfilling destiny.

She said: “We are one of the most industrious people on earth. But destiny hijackers have stunted our growth and development as a nation.

“This is why Nigerians function better overseas because there is an enabling environment.”

She advised politicians to avoid hate speeches during electioneering campaigns, saying they should only market their programmes and manifestoes to the masses.

“If we must move forward, we must avoid hate speeches. It is not right to wake up and call your President dead while he is still alive.

“It is not right especially when he has a family and children. Politicians should campaign based on issues and not personalities.”
