ON June 27, 2021, the Shell Hall of MUSON Centre was filled with guests who had come to cheer and feed their soul with laughter as they watched FunbiFunbi exercises his humor tact in Funbi’s Bus, an entertainment show crafted by FunbiFunbi.
After the show began in 2017, it has hosted various comedians and musicians on stage. For 2021, the show was tagged Funbi’s Bus-surviving Lagos, a performance of relatable stories surrounding entering buses in different parts of the world.
“Besides the high online demand for tickets, the presentation and setup were topnotch with supportive media partners. It gave me a feeling of ease and joy after a long time out of comedy shows,” said FunbiFunbi.
The event peaked with special performances by star comedian Seyilaw and artists like Laycon, Blaqbonez, Spyro, DJ Nana and Olakira.
Other artists present at the show include MI Abaga, AQ, Oberz, Bowjoint, Forever, Damola and many others.
