Management of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) has confirmed the killing of one of its Deputy Registrars, Dr Amos Arijesuyo.

Dr. Arijesuyo was Head, Guidance & Counseling Unit, Students Affairs

Arijesuyo died last Saturday from injuries he sustained from gunshot wounds after he was attacked along the Ilesa-Akure highway.

He was said to be returning to Akure from a trip to Ibadan when his vehicle ran into an ambush laid by unknown gunmen who were operating on the road around 5.30pm.
