Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has said he will soon announce members of his executive council (exco).
He said that he had gathered tested, trusted and experienced hands to put heads together to champion the cause of taking Kano to the next level.
Ganduje hailed permanent secretaries for their efforts so far and urged them never to relent in the good work they are doing.

He said: “We will very soon have commissioners in place, so that we will continue fine-tuning our policies, programmes and projects. Your work as public servants on this document clearly buttresses a point that civil service is the bedrock of any government.”
Ganduje spoke at a meeting with the permanent secretaries held at the Council Chamber, Governor’s Office, Kano, on Sunday.
The meeting deliberated on the proposed budget document, which he said would soon be presented to House of Assembly.
“We have already completed the process. What remains now is the brainstorming and fine-tuning of the document before final presentation to the House of Assembly,” he said.The governor added: “The cardinal point of the budget is human development, which is very vital in the overall development of the state.”
