Members of Information Technology Association of Nigeria (ITAN) have elected new board that will lead the body in the coming years.
The body plans to partner the government and other international agencies information services.
The board Chairman, Amos Emmanuel, said ITAN under his leadership would perform its task professionally, adding that it would strive to nip in the bud the challenges plaguing the society.
According to Emmanuel, ITAN plans to explore new business opportunity to better the disruption in the economic system.

He said: “ITAN is charged with the responsibility of providing assistance to its corporate members in meeting challenges plaguing our society. ITAN members will benefit from a global reposition of ICT policy. This support came in order for their businesses to be favoUrably viewed and dispense the ICT development within the country.
“ITAN members are privileged to apply for Global Accreditation in Business Excellence Certification Program (BECP) launched by the World Information Technology and Service Alliance (WITSA).
WITSA is not only the recognised voice of the ICT Industry, it is also an organisation driven with a vision and passion.”
