Gunmen have killed a Fulani leader in Lamba village, Asa local government area of Kwara State.

Alhaji Abdullahi Hardo Buruku was killed in the early hours of on Wednesday.

His killers reportedly came in large numbers.

The deceased was the state branch chairman, Gan Allah Fulani Development Association of Nigeria.

Spokesperson of the state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Babawale Afolabi confirmed the incident to our correspondent.
