Gunmen have murdered a former Chairman, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE) in Oshimili South Local Government Council of Delta State.

The Nation gathered the victim identified as “Sachimo”, was taking his children to school when the hoodlums gunned him down.

It was gathered the victim was shot on the head at close range in the presence of his wife.

It was learnt the victim’s wife survived after stray bullets hit her.

In another development, youths suspected to be cultists have murdered another unidentified youth behind the Healthcare Centre, opposite Studio 24, along Nnebisi Road Asaba.

It was learnt that the deceased was a surveyor.

Delta Acting Police spokesman DSP Edafe Bright, confirmed the killing of the former NULGE chairman.
