Gunmen have snatched N100 million from officials of Nasarawa State Ministry of Finance, Budget and Planning in Lafia, the state capital.

An eyewitness, who spoke anonymously, said the robbers trailed the Ministry officials from a bank where they withdrew the cash meant for casual workers’ pay.

“But it was on the ministry’s premises that the well-armed gunmen snatched the N100 million from the officials while trying to take it to the cash room,” the source said.
